We stayed on the coldest weekend of the year so far in december and made plenty of use of the fire, which was lovingly placed in the centre of the building to provide lots of warmth. The Old Chapel was a great base to reach Cromer, Sherringham, Mundesley, Overstrand and many other nice coastal Norfolk areas. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We generally loved the place. If I was to nit-pick, I would say that my partner was startled to have a heard of cows just over the fence along with a swarm of flies. (she is a bit of a city girl really, although they did not stop her going out to sit in the sun and read her book). From my point of view I thought the bathroom a little cramped and Read morehad we been inclined to use the sauna together would have been quite cosy , to say the least haha. The TV at approx 25'' could have been bigger, But as I say all this is nit-picking. I loved he design and the decor. If it came up for sale I would consider buying it , so you can't say fairer than that ! Hide

Amazing and sympathetic conversion of a lovely village Chapel - Very warm & cosy, peaceful, and so near many, many great Norfolk sites and places to visit. Great communication with the owners throughout - Thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Old Chapel.

The Old Chapel was ideal for our short break. Comfortable, quirky and very well equipped. The wood burning stove was most welcome, providing heat for the whole of the property. We visited the local pub/restaurant and would certainly recommend a visit. The nearest town of Aylsham is only a short drive away as is the Blickley Estate which we would Read morealso recommend. I booked The Old Chapel for its location, a short drive from The Reading Room where we were attending a wedding, for which it was ideal. But the cottage is also conveniently situated for trips into Norwich and to the coast. The accommodation was good with some interesting features, the kitchen was well resourced and unlike other cottages I've renteRead mored these were of a good quality and the beds were especially comfortable. The cottage had ample parking and a small gated outside space with a summer house and outside seating. I would be very happy to book a stay at The Old Chapel again. Hide

The comfortable Old Chapel was an ideal base for the two of us for our visit to North Norfolk. Sheringham, Cromer, National Trust properties and the Broads (all nearby) combined to provide opportunities for walking, a boat trip and that essential ingredient, fish and chips looking out over the sea. On returning to the chapel, we enjoyed sitting ouRead moret on the patio looking out over the meadows: a peaceful and calming end to each day. Hide

Everything was very clean and well maintained, the fire was an added bonus because though bright, it was quite chilly, altogether we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a good short break. We will try to get back before the summer holidays (kids). Pat Tillett
