Aylsham is an attractive, thriving historic market town situated on the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, yet only a few miles from the coast at Cromer. Home to the Bure Valley Steam Railway and just a couple of miles from Blickling Hall and Felbrigg, two of the county's well known National Trust properties. Weekly auctions are held in its sale rooms and are definitely worth a visit. Marriott's Way is a super off-road cycle and walking path, which follows the old railway line on the edge of the town.
Absolutely wonderful stay. Everything so pretty and beautifully arranged. Really appreciated all the hooks for hanging coats and clothes. Would love to come again.
One of the best self catering properties we have stayed in.
Loved this lovely cottage, spotless clean had everything you could need. Thank you for the welcome pack . Loved Aylsham too.
Lovely, homely and well equipped.
We had a wonderful weeks holiday, and the accommodation here is fantastic, nice and cosy, clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need. Such a lovely garden and nice and peaceful too. Thank you very much.
Superb weeks holiday, scorching weather, fine food and beer. Good fishing at Cobbleacre Lakes. Last but not least fabulous accommodation - couldn't ask for better.
Once again a wonderful stay. Couldn't wait to get here and now don't want to go home. A glorious week, apart from thunder & lightning last Friday night. Many thanks.
Very enjoyable week away in Norfolk. Plenty to see, a chance to take a "break" Lovely cottage, everything we could want and very welcoming, clean tidy and peaceful.
Our second visit to this lovely cottage. As usual so well equipped with the lovely welcome of bread, milk, biscuits & wine. Enjoyed our week - thank you.
A perfect holiday home, very well equipped and an ideal location for sightseeing.
Beautiful cottage, so clean & tidy. Everything you could need for a lovely week away. Thank you for the welcome pack. Enjoyed our regular visits to Holt, Sheringham, Cromer & Hunstanton. Fabulous weather. The garden is such a relaxing place. Hope to be back one day.
A most delightful cottage so well presented, furnished and fitted out. Possibly one of the best we have visited. Many thanks for the most generous welcome pack. For eating out, The Black Boys in Aylsham is good as it The Crown at Banningham. We had 4 days of high summer followed by 4 days of typical cool April weather. For walks there is a good circular walks around the town. For NT lovers Blickling Hall or Felbrigg are worth a visit as is Sheringham Park.
Beautifully kept and exceptionally well equipped cottage.
Fantastic cottage, everything at hand for a lovely 4 day stay. Thank you for the welcome pack, we will be back.
As threatened in May '17 we have returned and spent a lovely week. We expect to see you next year.
We all had a wonderful stay in 3 Pound Lane, so much so we do not really want to leave. Many thanks
