Norfolk Broads dog friendly
Now, we all know that cats and water don't mix. However, not the same can be said for dogs - most of them love it! With that in mind, the Norfolk Broads is the ideal place to bring your woofter. Hidden throughout this beautiful national park are over 190 miles of footpaths and nature trails that meander through picturesque countryside and quiet country lanes.
There are walks to suit all ages and abilities - from casual short circular routes of between four to six miles, to long-distance challenges that provide a holiday in themselves. These include the Angles Way from Beccles to Geldeston, Wherryman's Way through the southern area of The Broads, the six mile walk from Ludham to How Hill, Barton Broad Boardwalk and the four mile Beccles Marsh Trail. Visit the Enjoy the Broads website for more information.
Most day boat hire companies also accept dogs, as does TheCanoeMan, who offers everything from canoe hire to unforgettable Bush Trails. Now every man and his dog should try out one of those!
