Norfolk Broads visitor guide

A vast oasis of wildlife rich waterways to sooth the soul…

Referenced by the late David Bowe, and inspiration behind Swallows and Amazons, the Norfolk Broads is now a National Park… and about time too.  A paradise of waterways rich in wildlife and birdlife, it harks back to a time of boaters, parasols and cucumber sandwiches.  You can opt to hire a day boat from Wroxham and go it alone as a true explorer, or join a cruise assured someone else is at the helm.  Look out for our properties with a private mooring, perfect if you have your own boat.  For real adventure-seekers, head over to The CanoeMan at Wroxham and hop in a kayak for a couple of hours.  There’s also a myriad of cycle ways to navigate – ideal if you prefer to keep your feet dry.
