Lavender Cottage is an attractive converted barn which was first built around the turn of the 20th century. The cottage oozes character with its vaulted ceiling, original, exposed beams and brickwork and attractive fireplace and wood burner. Situated just outside the pretty Broadland village of Ludham; this area is ideal for both the Broads national park, the expanse of the sandy East Norfolk coast and the delightful inland countryside. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, ideal for a relaxing holiday and your dogs can come too. Shop/Pub: 1 mile

Ludham is a pretty Broadland village set in the heart of the Broads National park. The village has a splendid flint church, tea shop, butchers, shops and pubs. There are excellent walks in the area including nearby How Hill, National Trust reserve.  Norwich with its huge array of shops and restaurants is only 30 minutes' drive away, alternatively the sandy beaches of the East Coast and seals at Winterton and Horsey are a must. Boat enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of one of the last remaining wherries as well as the Heritage Sailing Fleet based at Womack Staithe and don't forget to take  a walk along the Thurne river to St Benets Abbey.
