Loddon, a small village that is listed in The Times 2014 survey of best 50 places to live in the UK, is situated at the southern edge of The Broads, with a good selection of local shops and pubs, is an ideal location for a holiday. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is easily accessible as are the diverse market towns of Beccles and Bungay. Norwich the cultural centre of the county is just ten miles away. The River Chet runs through the village and daily boat hire is available. The River Chet Walk is a very pleasant walk from Loddon, running through the village, to the end of the river at Hardley Cross.

Finley was well catered for with his travel cot and high chair and settled well. The cottage was cosy for the unpredictable weather in July and every activity was in easy reach from the property and we enjoyed several take aways from the local village.
