Hoveton St John is set within an attractive Broadland landscape and only moments away from Wroxham, which is often thought of as the heart of the Broads and a great place to set sail into the wild yonder! Hire a boat or a canoe, take a Broadland cruise and then hop on to the local Bure Valley steam railway to the pretty town of Aylsham, go on market day if you can. Children will enjoy a day out at BeWilderwood – a magical land of adventure or the animal adventure park at Reedham and everyone can easily relax in the vast landscape, which is great for cycling, fishing in season, walking and wildlife and birdwatching. The nearby east coast has some beautiful and sandy beaches, which are oven undiscovered even in the summer and make a lovely day out and the area is full of local farm shops, great pubs with craft beers, delis and markets, showcasing the best of Norfolk’s produce year round.
