This property is a thatched, late seventeenth century cottage right in the heart of Horning - one of the Broads prettiest riverside villages. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. It benefits from a fully enclosed garden with two patio areas. You couldn't be more central for the village and the Broads and the Norfolk Coast at Winterton is a short distance. The cottage is owned by a respected local guidebook author and has lots of information on things to do in the region. Shop/Pub: within walking distance

First Floor:
Bedroom 1 with a double bed and En-Suite Bathroom with bath, over-bath thermostatic shower, washbasin and wc

Bedroom 3 with a single bed and 4ft small double bed (this room can be accessed from a staircase that leads off the kitchen or from bedroom 2)

Garden: Fully enclosed garden with lawn, patio, table and chairs. Small uncovered pond and steep steps to upper levels of the garden, in both of these areas children should be supervised. The steps should not be treated as an area for play or jumping.
Parking: Driveway for two cars.
Heating: G.F.C.H, open fire, starter basket of logs and kindling.
Also Provided: Towels, travel cot, Books and games, perfect for those rainy days.
Pets: One well-behaved dog welcome. Please be aware of our booking information regarding pets.
Notes: This is a non-smoking property. Steep stairs, with banister on one side, to bedroom 3 - alternatively access via bedroom 2, short landing. The property has varying levels throughout as befits a cottage of this age. Mobile signal weak.

Situated on the banks of the River Bure, Horning is a lovely village in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Visitors might like to hire a day boat to explore the miles of waterways or perhaps sit, relax and watch the boats go by - a perfect way to unwind. The Norfolk Coast with its miles of sandy beaches is within easy reach and the village of Horning is in a good location for fishing, bird-watching, sailing, golf and horse-riding. Children will love Bewilderwood on the outskirts of  Horning, steam train rides from Wroxham to Aylsham and then there is the historic City of Norwich with its shopping and culture opportunities. The village has shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
