The sandy beach at Sea Palling is a mere four miles from the cottage with Cromer, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth are all within any easy drive away. The Broads offer many experiences whether exploring nature reserves, cycling the quiet lanes, taking a stroll, sailing, fishing or birdwatching. The nearby town of Stalham is just two miles, offering a supermarket and a range of small shops, and is home to the Museum of The Broads. Catfield has a village shop and a pub, as does neighbouring Ludham. Standing proud on the banks of the River Ant, How Hill is just a stones’ throw away. It is a lovely spot where you can explore the house, gardens, enjoy afternoon tea in the coffee shop, walk along the nature reserve and, during the summer months, board a traditional Wherry.
