Fenside House is a large detached bungalow that stands in approximately three acres of grounds that has river frontage leading directly onto Barton Broad. Built in the late 1960's the property is spacious with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, there is a lovely decked area with outdoor seating and barbecue perfect for alfresco dining and a safe area for children to play. This a lovely property for families and groups of friends with lots of space to spread out and relax. Bring your own canoes or dinghy, or hire a boat at nearby Stalham, you can also go fishing without leaving home. Shop/Pub: 1 mile

Notes:  This is a non smoking property. Water is from a well, filtered water to kitchen tap. Children must be supervised at all times near water and on play equipment. Neighbouring property has right of way through grounds to mooring.  Property is approached along an unsurfaced and uneven single track lane that runs alongside the fen, this can be very muddy and depending on time of year and weather conditions may be rather bumpy, which may be difficult and  unsuitable for some cars and cars with low suspensions. Mobile signal - variable.

The village of Catfield is an excellent base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and the excellent beaches of the North and East Coast. The sandy beach of Sea Palling is a mere four miles away with Cromer, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth just a short drive. The Broads offer many experiences, whether exploring nature reserves, cycling the quiet lanes, taking a stroll, sailing, fishing or birdwatching. The nearby town of Stalham is just two miles away offering a supermarket and a range of small shops, with the market town of North Walsham with its greater range of shops and sports facilities ten miles away. The village itself has a shop and pub, as does Ludham village close by.
