The kitchen/dining room is well equipped with two fridge/freezers, a wine cooler fridge, a range cooker and three eating spaces – so that’s breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted!  The sitting room has a woodburner to cosy round on colder days and includes an upright piano if the mood takes you. In the conservatory there are steam loungers for relaxing or evening star-gazing. There is also a children’s playroom with a games console, TV and additional games.  The master bedroom suite has a large panoramic window with views over the surrounding countryside and the remaining bedrooms are comfortable and spacious.  The lovely garden at the rear of the house has space for everyone to let off steam where you will also find a small tree house, covered pond and the owners have supplied garden games. Use the hammock to while away summer days with a good book and a glass of wine.  This is a super house to chill out in for a relaxing holiday and its location offers you the best of Norfolk on a plate – literally – as you can purchase locally brewed ales, fresh eggs and garden produce from the farm next door. Buxton is located in an area of Norfolk that gives easy access to so many different aspects of the county.  You can find fishing close by on the River Bure and the landscape under the big blue Norfolk sky is a joy for cyclists and walkers. Take a walk along Marriot's Way and at the picturesque market town of Aylsham, pick up a ride on the Bure Valley Railway narrow gauge steam railway for an 18 mile round trip through ancient pasture, meadowlands and Broadland villages. The Broads National Park is to the south; explore being out on the water, walk the local footpaths and don’t forget the picnic. The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Blickling Hall is 5 miles away and the other important historic houses of Felbrigg Hall and Holkham Hall should not be missed.  The city of Norwich, just 10 miles to the south is full of history, café culture, cinemas and theatres and is good for a spot of retail therapy too.  If you have enough energy left, then don’t forget to take in the sandy, east coast beaches which even in the summer are often undiscovered and underpopulated.

The house was comfortable, clean and everything we needed was well provided. The kitchen and dining areas were superb, and as the weather was so good during our stay, the sun conservatory was put to good use by all the family. The children all loved the garden, the playhouse, and the playroom.Mrs Anthea Grady - 3rd July 2018
This is a beautiful and large house. The kitchen and island unit are very large and and the range cooker along with plenty of fridges and freezers make this a fantastic social family space and such fun to cook in. The kitchen is well equipped (other than a salad spinner though this may well have been in one of the many cupboards and we just didn't manage to find it!) Plenty of knives, chopping boards, bowls etc which can often be too few in holiday rentals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with good quality soft bedding and big fluffy towels. The children enjoyed the play room adjoining the lounge with their own patio doors to access the garden. Along with a large garden, ample parking space and excellent patio area we were never on top of each other. We also found little safety features such as automatic night lights in strategic places helpful with children. The location is excellent for days out, though the traffic on the road outside could sometimes be a little fast. This was not a problem in the house with noise, but you would need to take care if out walking along with chiildren. This is probably the nicest holiday rental we have been in.Mrs Karen Johnston - 22nd September 2017
We have had the most wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and has everything. We have enjoyed just spending time at home We thoroughly recommend a trip to the Wildcraft Brewery next door - wish we had found this at the beginning of the week!!The Thomas Family - 29th July 2017
