21st - 29th October 2017 – North Norfolk Railway - Halloween

The North Norfolk Railway sees a week that’s full of treats and more than a spooky trick or two! Ghoulies and ghosties abound. Take a journey in darkness, whilst listening to the ghostly tales of Norfolk. Bring along your cameras and see if you're able to capture evidence of ghostly goings on along the line!

September & October 2017 - Norfolk Food & Drink Festival

The Adnams Norfolk Food & Drink Festival is now the largest county-wide festival of its kind in the country. There are many events and promotions going on throughout September and October, (also throughout the year!) featuring some of the best local seasonal food in the country. They include North Norfolk Food & Drink Festival, Battle of the Bangers, Norfolk Restaurant Week, and Wroxham Barns Scone Competition.

Saturday 16th - Sunday 17th September 2017 – 1940s Weekend

Come and enjoy the 1940's on the North Norfolk Railway, a very popular event for adults. Over the years this event has attracted more and more visitors and more and more exhibitors. It is widely felt to be one of the best events of its type in the country. Come in uniform or 1940's civilian dress to add to the atmosphere.

Visit Great Yarmouth - St George's Park and surrounding areas for a festival of circus and street art. The Maritime Festival is one of the biggest events in Great Yarmouth's annual calendar where they celebrate the maritime heritage and look to the maritime future.

For the eighth year running this ever popular festival will be held at the spectacular setting of Holkham Estate. Come discover live cookery demonstrations and array of local food & drink growers, producers, suppliers and sellers - all easily tempting you with their delights.

Creake Abbey Farmers Market

On the 1st Saturday of each month - 9.30am - 1pm, Creake Abbey hosts its award winning market. 55+ stall holders come with fresh local meat including rare breed pork, Aberdeen Angus beef, chickens reared with no antibiotics, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheeses, cakes, tarts (savoury and sweet), pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, rapeseed oil, vinegars, preserves, local ales, juices and plants. A number of exceptional pre-prepared dishes are on sale all made with local ingredients.
