Theatre Royal Norwich

Tuesday 13th December 2016 - Sunday 15th January 2017 Jack and the Beanstalk

Head to The Theatre Royal Norwich for a traditional family pantomime written, directed & starring Richard Gauntlett. If you don't know the story! - Down on his luck and barely able to afford the rent, Jack is tricked into selling the family cow for a handful of magic beans!! On his return home Jack's Mum is furious and their madcap journey to the top of the beanstalk begins.

Monday 26th December 2016 - Cromer Boxing Day Swim

The North Norfolk beach runners have been holding this annual event for nearly 30 years. Firstly at 10am enjoy a casual run along the beach at Overstrand - then back along the clifftops. Then at 11am be brave and head for a swim in the sea - they do like you to get your hair wet too!

Sunday 25th December 2016 - Hunstanton Christmas Day Swim

Come watch or take part in this Christmas day event, which has been running annually for over 50 years. Prizes available for fancy dress. Arrive around 10.30am with the parade into the sea at 11am.

Thursday 10th November – Friday 23rd December 2016 – Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians – many of whom are West End performers. The 3 hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour, variety and is the largest Christmas Show in the country.

The end of pier show is now in its 12th year and continues to be a fantastic feel good performance. Packed full of seasonal cheer, with singing, dancing and comedy acts to get you in the festive mood.

Saturday 17th - Tuesday 20th December 2016 - Holkham - An Audience with Father Christmas

For your chance to meet Father and Mother Christmas - Head to Holkham Hall and hear tales of wonder and magic plus be entertained by all-singing, all-dancing cheeky elves. There will be a small present for all the good children and a glass of prosecco or a soft drink for adults.

Saturday 10th December 2016 - Sunday 8th January 2017 Great Yarmouth Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular & Water Show

Head to Great Yarmouth for some of the world’s best International Circus Artists, Dynamic Dancers, Amazing Acrobats, and Hilarious Comedy with Jack Jay. If that wasn't enough the hit sensation from the summer Roberto Carlos will be performing with his amazing juggling and Laser performance plus the amazing water Spectacular with swimmers, fountains, aerialists and special effects - will ensure this is a show you will not forget.

Saturday 3rd December 2016 – Creake Abbey – Farmers Market

On the 1st Saturday of each month - 9.30am - 1pm, Creake Abbey hosts its award winning market. 55+ stall holders come with fresh local meat including rare breed pork, Aberdeen Angus beef, chickens reared with no antibiotics, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheeses, cakes, tarts (savoury and sweet), pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, rapeseed oil, vinegars, preserves, local ales, juices and plants. A number of exceptional pre-prepared dishes are on sale all made with local ingredients.

Thursday 1st December – Thursday 8th December 2016 – Christmas Tree Festival

This will be the sixteenth Christmas tree festival to take place in the Fakenham Parish Church. With around 60 decorated real trees, there will be plenty for all ages to admire and it is a fantastic way to raise money for local charities. Free entry with viewings from 10am to 8pm (Sunday 12 noon to 8pm)

Wednesday 30th November 2016 - Holt Christmas Lights

Come enjoy this popular annual event in the beautiful town of Holt. The actual light switch on and firework display is at 6pm, however there will be food stalls, entertainment, parade and even a pantomime horse race around the town from 4.30pm onwards. All the festive fun and entertainment on offer will guarantee to get you in the festive mood.

Burnham Market is the perfect spot to start your Christmas shopping - This picturesque village has over 30 independent retailers offering unique gifts. The annual switch on is a great event for the whole family. This year advertised 4pm - 6pm with - All day kids funfair rides * Late evening shopping * Nelson’s Shantymen * Red Zebra * Ukulele Elves * Father Christmas ……. And the loudest countdown ever!

Thursday 17th November 2016 - Norwich Christmas Lights

For the best way to get into the festive mood visit the city of Norwich as they present a spectacular ‘Tunnel of Light’ linking Gentleman’s Walk to The Forum via Hay Hill. Using programmable LED lights; pulsating images will reflect the patterns and colours of the Northern Lights in a 60 meter long tunnel, 6 meters wide and 4 meters high.
In addition, an eight meter tall Christmas tree will sparkle and twinkle outside the City Hall with a programme of incredible projections and music, hourly between 5pm & 9pm

Sunday 6th November 2016 - Bodham Fireworks

Bodham fireworks and bonfire always promises to be an excellent evening to enjoy with friends and family with a BBQ and display. Gates open at 6pm with the main display starting at 7pm.

Saturday 5th November 2016 - Corpusty Bonfire & Fireworks

The popular annual Corpusty bonfire starts with a procession at 6pm with the main display lighting up the sky at 8pm.

Friday 4th November 2016 - Fawkes in the Walks, King’s Lynn

Starting at 6pm, enjoy lots of stalls and rides in Kings Lynn with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and you can enjoy a warming hot drink before the main fireworks start at 8pm.

Saturday 5th November 2016 - Hunstanton Fireworks Display

Head to the Hunstanton Cliff Top car park and enjoy the fantastic display by the beach. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm with the fireworks kicking off at 7.30pm.

Friday 4th November 2016 - The Lighthouse Inn Walcott

Calling all Disney Frozen fans – the first display at 7.15pm will be set to the soundtrack - so is sure to please the little ones…. The main display follows which incorporates sparkling fireworks to film soundtracks over the last 50 years.

Friday 4th November 2016 - Norwich Castle Fireworks

Gather in the heart of Norwich for an enjoyable evening of entertainment, music and fireworks galore. The display starts at 7.30pm.

Thursday 3rd November 2016 - Hemsby Fireworks

Check out the beautiful seaside town of Hemsby with a barbecue, rides for the kids and of cause a firework display, at 8pm.
