Cromer Boxing Day Swim

The North Norfolk beach runners have been holding this annual event for nearly 30 years. Firstly at 10am enjoy a casual run along the beach at Overstrand - then back along the clifftops. Then at 11am be brave and head for a swim in the sea - they do like you to get your hair wet too!

Hunstanton Christmas Day Swim 2017

Come watch or take part in this Christmas day event, which has been running annually for over 50 years. Prizes available for fancy dress. Arrive around 10.30am with the parade into the sea at 11am.

Father Christmas

Wednesday 8th November – Saturday 23rd December 2017 – Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians – many of whom are West End performers. The 3 hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour, variety and is the largest Christmas Show in the country.

Celebrating it's 13th year and going stronger than ever, The Cromer Pier Christmas Show returns for another season full of fun and sparkle. Over the last few years it has got bigger and bigger and is now considered one of the best family Christmas Shows in Norfolk, strengthening the county's festive entertainment offering.

For your chance to meet Father and Mother Christmas - Head to Holkham Hall and hear tales of wonder and magic plus be entertained by all-singing, all-dancing cheeky elves. There will be a small present for all the good children and a glass of prosecco or a soft drink for adults.

Saturday 9th December 2017 - Sunday 7th January 2018 Great Yarmouth Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular & Water Show

Celebrating 17 years of phenomenally success the Christmas Spectacular runs from 9th December 2017 to 7th January 2018 with Shows 2pm & 6pm daily (1st Jan 4.30pm show only) this show has Fun, thrills and excitement for the whole family and is guaranteed to amaze with an array of international artists including the Globe of Death with the dare devil Motor bike riders direct from Brazil and the thrilling Wheel of Death.

Saturday 2nd December 2017 – Creake Abbey – Farmers Market

On the 1st Saturday of each month - 9.30am - 1pm, Creake Abbey hosts its award winning market. 55+ stall holders come with fresh local meat including rare breed pork, Aberdeen Angus beef, chickens reared with no antibiotics, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheeses, cakes, tarts (savoury and sweet), pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, rapeseed oil, vinegars, preserves, local ales, juices and plants. A number of exceptional pre-prepared dishes are on sale all made with local ingredients.

Wells Christmas Tide

Saturday 2nd December 2017 Wells Christmas Tide

Join the town of Wells-next-the-Sea as it turns into a winter wonderland full of fun and seasonal activities. From 10am there will be a whole host of street entertainment and 5pm sees the switching on of the Christmas lights followed by the arrival of Santa on the Quay.

Thursday 30th November – Thursday 7th December 2017 – Christmas Tree Festival

This will be the seventeenth Christmas tree festival to take place in the Fakenham Parish Church. With around 60 decorated real trees, there will be plenty for all ages to admire and it is a fantastic way to raise money for local charities. Free entry with viewings from 10am to 8pm (Sunday 12 noon to 8pm)

Wednesday 15th November 2017 - Holt Christmas Lights

Come enjoy this popular annual event in the beautiful town of Holt. The actual light switch on and firework display is at 6.30pm, however there will be food stalls, entertainment, parade and even a pantomime horse race around the town from 4.30pm onwards. All the festive fun and entertainment on offer will guarantee to get you in the festive mood.

Burnham Market is the perfect spot to start your Christmas shopping - This picturesque village has over 30 independent retailers offering unique gifts. Thursday 16th November 2017 - Norwich Christmas Lights

Don't miss the party of the year when the streets of Norwich sparkle and shine and music fills the night at the annual Christmas Switch-on. There'll be a parade with Father Christmas, entertainment in front of City Hall and the switching on of the city centre lights. 6pm to 10pm.

Sunday 5th November 2017 - Bodham Fireworks

Bodham fireworks and bonfire always promises to be an excellent evening to enjoy with friends and family with a BBQ and display. Gates open at 6pm with the main display starting at 7pm.

Saturday 5th November 2017 - Corpusty Bonfire & Fireworks

The popular annual Corpusty bonfire starts with a procession at 6pm with the main display lighting up the sky at 8pm.

Friday 3rd November 2017 - Fawkes in the Walks, King’s Lynn

Starting at 6pm, enjoy lots of stalls and rides in Kings Lynn with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and you can enjoy a warming hot drink before the main fireworks start at 8pm.

Saturday 4th November 2017 - Hunstanton Fireworks Display

Head to the Hunstanton Cliff Top car park and enjoy the fantastic display by the beach. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm with the fireworks kicking off at 7.30pm.

Friday 3rd November 2017 - The Lighthouse Inn Walcott

The first display at 7.15pm will be set to Disney music - so is sure to please the little ones…. The main display at 8.30pm follows which incorporates sparkling fireworks to anthemic rock classics.

Friday 3rd November 2017 - Norwich Castle Fireworks

Gather in the heart of Norwich for an enjoyable evening of entertainment, music and fireworks galore. The display starts at 7.30pm.
