Tuesday 23rd April until Friday 24th May 2019 – The BeWILDerbug Ball

Enjoy a fun day out at BeWILDerwood this May and the Park says hello to spring. Visit the Sky Maze, fly along the Zip Wires and create your very own Balancing Bug to wear to the BeWILDerbug Ball at the Storytelling Stage. BeWILDerwood is the ideal day out for children of all ages, including little toddlers!

Friday 3rd May 2019 – Chamber Music Concert with Doric String Quartet

Enjoy chamber music and opera at its finest in the perfect setting of the Marble Hall at Holkham. This year, Holkham are welcoming the wonderful Doric String Quartet. Tickets cost £28 and includes a glass of wine in the Saloon during the interval and an opportunity to view some of the other state rooms in the hall.

Saturday 4th May 2019 – Deepdale Street Food Night

This May, visit Deepdale Farm for an evening of freshly cooked tacos, burgers & fries. Served up at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping from Justin’s caravan, The Cabin, the menu will suit meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. All meat is ethically sourced direct from free range farms.

Saturday 4th May 2019 – Creake Abbey Farmer's Market

On the 1st Saturday of every month, (excluding January) Creake Abbey hosts its award winning market, welcoming over 50 stall holders, selling their fresh local produce including vegetables, fruit, cheeses, cakes, pies, fudge, artisan breads and much more. Held in two Norfolk barns, there is also music and cookery theatre demonstrations.

Friday 10th May until Sunday 26th May 2019 – Norfolk & Norwich Festival

Each May, the Norfolk & Norwich Festival transforms the public spaces, city streets, performance venues, parks, forests and beaches of Norfolk to celebrate music, theatre, literature, visual arts, circus, dance and free outdoor events. The Norfolk & Norwich Festival is the flagship arts festival for the East of England.

Sunday 19th May & Sunday 23rd June 2019 – Wedding open mornings at Holkham

Monthly wedding open mornings give you the opportunity to explore the Lady Elizabeth Wing and the Hall. You will meet the experienced team and you can walk around the venue at your own leisure where tea, coffee and bubbles will be served. Open mornings open from 9:00am - 12 noon.

Saturday 19th May & Sunday 20th May 2019 – Roarr! Goes Wild

Visit Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure this May and experience their British Wildlife Trail, enjoy animal encounters and even make your own bug hotel in their fun craft sessions. Learn about the fascinating Native Species you can find at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure and discover what conservation is all about.

Saturday 19th May & Sunday 20th May 2019 – Pensthorpe Bird & Wildlife Fair

This May, the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust are hosting the fantastic Pensthorpe Bird & Wildlife Fair 2019, showcasing why Norfolk is renowned as ‘the birdwatching capital of Britain’. The event will feature guest speakers, demonstrations, walks and talks, and book signings.

Saturday 19th May & Sunday 20th May 2019 – Crab & Lobster Festival

Visit Cromer this May for the annual Crab & Lobster Festival. Enjoy a lively celebration of two wonderful coastal towns, Cromer and Sheringham. The Festival will host over 50 local craft, food and drink stalls, alongside kids entertainment, cookery demonstrations, crab lucky dip, traditional rope and crab pot making and much more.

Thursday 6th until Tuesday 11th June 2019 – Pop Up Shops at Dalegate Market

This June, head to the north Norfolk coast for an unmissable shopping experience. The Pop Up Shops change weekly at the Dalegate Market. Between 6th - 11th June, Dalegate Market will host Brinkbourne Arts, Hilary & Alice, Coincidentally Ginger & Victoria Goss in the beach huts.

Wednesday 12th June 2019 – Open Air Theatre at Sandringham Gardens

Visit the gorgeous Sandringham Gardens this June for a spectacular take on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy the excellent live entertainment - alternatively, you can make use of the Stables Tearoom.

Sunday 16th June 2019 – Fathers VIP Package at Bure Valley

This Father's Day, treat your father to this fantastic train package with lunch at the Whistlestop Cafe. There is also opportunity for each father to drive a steam engine! Departing from Wroxham at 11:10am, you will experience a nostalgic journey by steam train, before arriving at Aylsham for lunch.

Sunday 16th June 2019 – Father's Day Special at Broads Tours

This Father's Day, why not let your dad be the captain of his very own Broads Tours Standard Day Boat - a Captains Hat will even be supplied! Day Boats are available from 9am - 5:30pm.

Tuesday 18th June 2019 – Mindfulness at Pensthorpe Natural Park

This June, why not visit the beautiful Pensthorpe Natural Park and try out mindfulness? This drop in taster session, costing £5, is informal and fun and the money will be donated to Marie Curie in aid of Lou’s Coastal Trek around Norfolk.

Wednesday 26th June 2019 – Evening Water Trail at Hickling Broad

From 6pm - 8pm, keep an eye out for marsh harriers, great crested grebes and the elusive bittern on this special two hour water trail. Sail to two bird hides and a tree tower, offering spectacular views of Broadland.
