Various dates June, July, August & September 2017 - The Cromer Pier Summer Show

Cromer Pier, this year celebrates its 40th anniversary and is again putting on three fantastic shows throughout the season. Show 1, Show 2 and The best of Summer Show. Each performance brings a mix of music, song, dance, glitzy costumes, fabulous scenery and belly-laughing comedy, all brought to you by the same cast, so if you love variety, we know you will love whichever show you see.

(August) Until 5th = The Railway Children. Mon 7th - Sat 12th = Dreamboats & Petticoats. Sat 26th = Free open day - have a look behind the scenes. Tue 29th - Sat 2nd Sep = The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Monday 28th August – The Aylsham Show

The Aylsham Show is a traditional one-day agricultural show, with an average attendance in the region of 18,000 and is the largest one-day agricultural show in East Anglia. It is held in the beautiful parkland setting of Blickling - a National Trust Estate, and one of the most beautiful sites in the County.

Sunday 20th August - Saturday 26th August 2017 - Hunstanton Tennis Week

Britain's biggest tennis tournament established in 1920 attracts entrants of all ages from Norfolk and beyond. A dedicated committee of tennis fans runs the annual event with a variety of trade stands, cafe and bar located at the recreational ground in Hunstanton found along the A149.

Saturday 12th August – Friday 18th August 2017 - Cromer Carnival

The renowned Cromer Carnival is a spectacular week-long event. The actual carnival day will be held on Wednesday 19th August with the spectacular parade traveling through the town on the evening.

Saturday 29th July – Sunday 6th August 2017 – Sheringham Carnival

The Carnival was started twenty-seven years ago, and has grown with each successive year, and now provides a week of fun and entertainment for all the family, due to the willing band of volunteers that organise it.

Saturday 12 August 2017 - Maritime Heritage Day at Creake Abbey Barn, by kind permission of Diana Brocklebank-Scott

10am until 5pm - A great day celebrating local maritime heritage displays, family activities, and films! Activities include knot tying, crab boat quiz, making things which float, and two film screenings of our film, Lucy Lavers Return to Dunkirk 75 years on. This evocative, hour-long film tells the story of how our newly-restored lifeboat Lucy Lavers made the commemorative journey from Wells-next-the-Sea to Dunkirk and back in May 2015. Proceeds from the day will kickstart the fundraising for our latest restoration project, Whelker Bessie. An important local boat, Bessie also has her own intriguing Dunkirk history... We look forward to welcoming you!

During the week there is something for everyone - including live music, sandcastle & crabbing competitions, teddy bears picnic plus lots of children’s fun days. (Carnival day is Saturday 5th August 2017)

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th August 2017 – Sandringham Food & Drink Festival

You can browse, sample and buy a huge variety of food and drink produce, both from the local region and from the international community, as well as enjoying live music all weekend. There will be a Real Ale Marquee set up to satisfy all your thirsty needs, and many other events and activities taking place for visitors of all ages.

The popular annual Worstead Festival has been running for over 50 years. Enjoy two display rings with lots of exciting acts for all the family including vintage car display, dog & duck herding plus much much more.

Wednesday 26th July 2017 – Sandringham Flower Show

The Sandringham Flower Show is a very firm favorite in the events calendar, mixing flower and produce competitions, trade stands, amateur and professional display gardens and a wealth of arena events. It is always the busiest day of the year on the estate, welcoming over 20,000 visitors.

From comedy to cuisine, politics to pop Holt Festival brings you the best in music, theatre, fine art and the spoken word in a glorious celebration of the arts. The first acts have been released- more to be confirmed.

Saturday 15th July 2017 - Snail Racing at Congham - Grimston PE321AH - From 2pm

Head to this popular annual event with your fastest snail - or you can buy one from the snail master! Enter heats to reach the final - and your snail could be crowned the winner! This family day includes Morris dancing, live music, bar, bbq and fun games.

Friday 14th Sunday 16th July 2017 - Beer Festival

This will be the 15th annual Beer Festival which is now firmly established in the beer (and rail) enthusiasts' calendar. This year's festival promises to be even bigger and better than ever and held at the North Norfolk Railway.
