Cromer pier

Various dates June, July, August & September 2018 – The Cromer Pier Summer Show

Cromer Pier is again putting on three fantastic shows throughout the season, Show 1, Show 2 and The Best of Summer Show. Each performance brings a mixture of music, songs and dancing combined with glitzy costumes, fabulous scenery and belly-laughing comedy - all brought to you by the same cast. So if you love variety, we know you will love whichever show you see.

Wednesday 7th February until Saturday 22nd December 2018 – Fused Glass Workshop at Holt

Come to Holt this year to participate in a fantastic workshop where you can learn to design your masterpiece, cut the glass and fuse it, creating a one-off piece. Taking place in Driftwood Studio, workshops will be running at 11:00 for the rest of the day. Children's taster sessions will be priced at £20, fused class courses will be £80 and stained glass workshops will be £120.

Sunday 24th June until Saturday 8th September 2018 – GoGoHares charity art trail

This fantastic art project has had over 160 youth groups, schools, scouting, guiding, community and sports club take part in decorating the large hares. On the 24th June 50 wonderful hares will be placed around the city of Norwich and a further 18 will be located around Norfolk. These hares form the city and county trails. Each hare will have it's own unique prize. You can follow the hare trail using their special map which is available during the week from the tourist information in Norwich. You can also download it from their website. The cute baby hares will follow the main ones from 2nd July - 2nd September and will also feature on the map, the app and they will have a special souvenir poster from intu Chapelfield. The hares will be leaving our streets on 8th September, however they will all be returning for a special 4 days of events on the 7th October, Hare Today Gone Tomorrow!

Celebration

Friday 6th until Sunday 8th July – Lord Mayor's Celebration

Join in with the annual Lord Mayor's Celebrations between 6th - 8th July. Come and enjoy the colourful street procession as drummers, entertainers, acrobats and floats party their way through the city. There will also be outdoor live music, dance and theatre performers, a funfair and fireworks - this free event is definitely not an event to miss.

Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July – Elveden Country & Craft Show & Festival for Dogs

Head to Elveden Country and Craft Show this July for a weekend of food, animals and music. With a special performance from Britain Got Talent's Dima and his Dancing Dog, spend the day in the sun with your entire family - the Elveden Country and Craft Show will be fun for everyone. Other fantastic events include cookery demonstrations from celebrity chef Alan Coxon, learn how to make bath salts and see the fantastic boa constrictor.

Saturday 14th until Monday 16th July 2018 – North Norfolk Railway Beer Festival

This will be the 15th annual Beer Festival which is now firmly established in the beer (and rail) enthusiasts' calendar. This year's festival promises to be even bigger and better than ever and held at the North Norfolk Railway.

Snails

Saturday 21st July 2018 – Snail Racing at Congham

Head to this popular annual event with your fastest snail - or you can buy one from the snail master! Enter heats to reach the final - and your snail could be crowned the winner! This family day includes Morris dancing, live music, bar, bbq and fun games. The championships will be held in Grimston, PE321AH, from 2pm.

Saturday 21st until Sunday 29th July 2018 – Holt Festival

From comedy to cuisine, politics to pop Holt Festival brings you the best in music, theatre, fine art and the spoken word in a glorious celebration of the arts. More details to follow.

Monday 23rd July until Tuesday 7th August 2018 – National Marine Week

Every year the Wildlife Trusts nationally celebrate the UK’s spectacular sea animals and plants during National Marine Week. This year, National Marine Week will be running from 23rd July until 7th August. There will be lots of exciting opportunities for you and your family to discover throughout the week, including events and activities at West Runton, NWT Holme Dunes and NWT Cley Marshes. Wednesday 25th July 2018 – Sandringham Flower Show

The Sandringham Flower Show is a very firm favorite in the events calendar, mixing flower and produce competitions, trade stands, amateur and professional display gardens and a wealth of arena events. It is always the busiest day of the year on the estate, welcoming over 20,000 visitors.

Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2018 – Worstead Festival

The popular annual Worstead Festival has been running for over 50 years. Enjoy two display rings with lots of exciting acts for all the family including vintage car display, dog & duck herding plus much much more.

Friday 27th July until Sunday 5th August 2018 – Wells Carnival

During the week there is something for everyone - including live music, sandcastle & crabbing competitions, teddy bears picnic plus lots of children’s fun days. (Carnival day is Saturday 4th August 2018.)

Saturday 28th July until Sunday 5th August 2018 – Sheringham Carnival

The Carnival was started over twenty-five years ago, and has grown with each successive year, and now provides a week of fun and entertainment for all the family, due to the willing band of volunteers that organise it.

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th August 2018 – Sandringham Food & Drink Festival

You can browse, sample and buy a huge variety of food and drink produce, both from the local region and from the international community, as well as enjoying live music all weekend. There will be a Real Ale Marquee set up to satisfy all your thirsty needs, and many other events and activities taking place for visitors of all ages.

Saturday 11th until Friday 17th August 2018 – Cromer Carnival

The renowned Cromer Carnival is a spectacular week-long event. The carnival day will be held on Wednesday 19th August with the spectacular parade traveling through the town on the evening.

Sheringham Park, Norfolk

Thursday 16th August 2018 – Family Survival School at Sheringham Park

Head to Sheringham Park on Thursday 16th August to discover survival skills such as how to build a shelter, light a fire, forage for good and how to navigate using a map and compass. The event is on between 10:30am and 3:30pm.

Friday 17th August 2018 – 50 Things to Do Fridays, Build a Den

Visit Sheringham Park every Friday in August to complete their '50 things to do before you are 11 ¾' project. This week, head to the Park to build a den! This is a free event and booking is not necessary.

Sunday 19th until Saturday 25th August 2018 – Hunstanton Tennis Week

Britain's biggest tennis tournament established in 1920 attracts entrants of all ages from Norfolk and beyond. A dedicated committee of tennis fans runs the annual event with a variety of trade stands, cafe and bar located at the recreational ground in Hunstanton found along the A149.

Monday 27th August 2018 – The Aylsham Show

The Aylsham Show is a traditional one-day agricultural show, with an average attendance in the region of 18,000 and is the largest one-day agricultural show in East Anglia. It is held in the beautiful parkland setting of Blickling - a National Trust Estate, and one of the most beautiful sites in the County.
