Wednesday 12th December 2018 until Sunday 13th January 2019 – Aladdin, Norwich Theatre Royal

Visit the Norwich Theatre Royal this Christmas to watch the magical Aladdin pantomime. The show is on between Wednesday 12th December 2018 - Sunday 13th January 2019. Booking before the end of February 2018 will enable you to receive £3 off your ticket price (price band A-D only). 

Saturday 12th January until Saturday 16th Feb 2019 – ST*ART Painting at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery

ST*ART Painting aims to develop and encourage children’s confidence and creativity through taking part in fun activities inspired by the Castle’s art galleries. The course aims to fuel children’s curiosity and encourage a deeper engagement with culture. The course is suitable for ages 8-12 years and will run for six weeks, with sessions starting at 10:00 and finishing at 12:40. It costs £45 and to be eligible for the programme, you must live within a 25 radius of Norwich.

Sunday 13th, Sunday 20th January and Sunday 3rd February 2019 – Wedding open mornings at Holkham

Monthly wedding open mornings at Holkham give you the opportunity to explore the Lady Elizabeth Wing and the Hall. You will meet the experienced team and you can walk around the venue at your own leisure where tea, coffee and bubbles will be served. Open mornings are open from 9:00am - 12 noon.

Sunday 27th January 2019 – An Introduction to the Birds of Cley, Spring 19 at NWT Cley Marshes

If you are a passionate birdwatcher, or simply want to learn more about birds, join the Norfolk Wildlife Trust for a guided walk at the Cley Marshes. Binoculars are available to hire. Tours start at 10:30 and end at 12:30. Tickets are £3.50 for NWT members and £5.00 for non members. Booking is essential.

Sunday 27th January until Saturday 2nd March 2019 – Coffee & Nature Kayaking Safari

Want to experience the true beauty of the Norfolk Broads from the water? Head to Hickling Broad for an adventure of a lifetime. The highly experienced guides at Norfolk Outdoor Adventures will meet you with your kayak and all other equipment needed. The trip will take you though some of the beautiful surrounding rivers then onto Hickling Broad, its back waters and into a handful of it's secret hidden gems. Your time on the water will last around 2.5 hours. Trips take place from 8:30 on 27th January, 2nd February, 16th February and 2nd March 2019. Tickets cost £35. 

Saturday 2nd February 2019 – Beach Clean at NWT Cley Marshes

From 10:30 - 12:30 on 2nd February 2019, help the Norfolk Wildlife Trust clean up the Norfolk coast to help the local wildlife. Discover lots of exciting wildlife and mysterious marine objects during your clean. Meet at the Salthouse Beach Road and all equipment is provided.

Thursday 14th February 2019 – 1940's Family Event Day at Lynn Museum

This February, discover what life was like on the Home Front during WWII with costumed characters, crafts and food. Open from 10:00 - 13:00 and entry is free.

Saturday 16th until Sunday 24th February 2019 – Feathered Friends Fun at Holkham

This February half term, visit Holkham to learn more about your feathered friends, in preparation for National Nest Box Week. Head down to The Lookout on the Holkham National Nature Reserve to build your own bird box to take home. Discover which birds might use them and investigate what owls eat with an owl pellet dissection. Visit the Field to Fork Experience in Holkham Park and be amazed by their record-breaking bird trail. Make your very own bird feeder to take home and there will be also be craft activities and salt dough fun.

Thursday 28th February 2019 – Afternoon tea at Holkham

Enjoy afternoon tea in true Holkham style. Spend an indulgent afternoon at Holkham enjoying finely cut sandwiches, mouthwatering salmon cones, delicate filled baby brioche, scrumptious scones, delicious tray bakes, and a choice of loose leaf teas. £19.95 per person and parking is included. A vegetarian afternoon tea is available.
