Scallop Cottage, Sheringham - Sleeps 3
Originally two cottages built in the 1840’s and tucked away in the heart of the bustling seaside resort of Sheringham, Scallop Cottage was once part of the sea-faring community being used as a traditional fisherman’s cottage in a former life. Now lovingly restored this cosy spot is barely 200m from the sea and just round the corner from the thriving High Street, with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and entertainment to hand.

St Michael’s Cottage, Wells-next-the-Sea - Sleeps 8+2
A stunning 16th Century merchant’s house that is full of character and has a unique look-out tower at the top of the house that oversees the East Fleet creek and marshes opposite the town’s quayside; telescope supplied, this is a great space for daytime vistas of superb coastal views and night time stargazing. The house is located in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea on one of the narrow lanes that leads down to the quay and has its own courtyard garden with a barbecue area, a staircase on either side of the house, two sitting rooms, a shower room or bathroom on each floor, sumptuous bedrooms and a convivial kitchen/dining space to enjoy reminiscing on the days’ outings together. The master bedroom is a stunning and heavily beamed room with leaded windows that gives you a true sense of the history of the house. Oak House, Buxton – Sleeps 10
Oak House is a great holiday home for both families and friends to enjoy and its voluminous entertaining space and fabulous kitchen cannot fail to impress. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped with two American-style fridges, a wine cooler fridge, a range cooker and three eating spaces – so that’s breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted! The sitting room has a woodburner to cosy round on colder days and includes an upright piano if the mood takes you and the master bedroom suite has a large panoramic window with views over the surrounding countryside. The lovely garden at the rear of the house has space for everyone to let off steam, a small tree house and covered pond and the owners have supplied garden games and a hammock to while away summer days with a good book and a glass of wine. This is a super house to chill out in for a relaxing holiday and its location offers you Norfolk on a plate, with easy access to The Broads National Park, fabulous east coast beaches and the cultural delights of Norwich for retail therapy, history, theatre and so much more.
Hales Hall, The Gatehouse and The Cottage, Hales – Sleeps 14, 5 and 2
Hales Hall is a magnificent Grade 1 listed Tudor building that was awarded first prize by the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England in 2014 and the Hall, its adjoining Gatehouse and detached Cottage, offer truly unique holiday homes within the county. Built in 1478 by Sir James Hobart with oak beams a feature throughout, the Hall allows you to step inside the architectural grandeur that greets you on your arrival and unwind in style. Despite its size there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home, with intimate sitting rooms, fireplaces and wood burners, an Aga in the 38’ kitchen/dining room and a Steck mini grand piano in the Music Room on the first floor. Indulge and relax in capacious bedrooms, pamper yourself in splendid bathrooms and re-connect with nature in the grounds and gardens with manicured lawns, extensive topiary, and cottage garden planting, bordered on one side by a small moat.
The Cottage is detached from the main Hall and has its own private walled courtyard garden and further lawns with lovely views over the undulating farmland. Cosy and characterful the cottage features lead light windows, oak panelling and timbers throughout, and is a super holiday home-from-home.
The Gatehouse is a wonderful and romantic bolt hole for two with a roll top bath and chandelier in the same room as a grand four poster bed, dare to tear yourselves away to visit the private topiary garden and countryside walks on the doorstep.
Cranmer Hall Barn, Nr South Creake – Sleeps 4
You cannot fail to be impressed by Cranmer Hall Barn. Built in the early 1800’s you enter via the double height barn doors and walk directly into a huge living space, which features a fantastic floor to ceiling Swedish wood burning stove, just what’s required on cooler days to keep cosy and warm. Luxury living abounds with a hand-made ‘Bryan Turner’ kitchen, bespoke marble bathrooms and some beautiful antique furniture mixed with contemporary touches that creates a truly unique space. The courtyard garden is a good spot for morning breakfast or an evening supper on warmer days and the quiet, rural location of the barn offers the perfect spot to unwind and relax after days out exploring this delightful corner of north Norfolk.
Cranmer Hall Barn Orangery, Nr South Creake – Sleeps 3 +1

Dedicated to the best of everything The Orangery originally dates back to the 1800’s but has recently been fully restored to offer high-end living all on one level. With fabulous chandeliers throughout the house, gorgeous sleigh beds for a sumptuous nights’ sleep, a Kestrel hand built kitchen and period and antique pieces at every turn, the property is an elegant holiday home. The other joy of The Orangery is its rural location, which offers a true haven of peace, tranquillity and the ability to get-away-from-it-all.
