The Hideaway is a comfortable, well appointed and surprisingly spacious property attached to the owner's cottage. The large, secluded garden is shared with the owners and their one small dog, who will rarely venture onto the area immediately surrounding The Hideaway leaving guests to enjoy their privacy. Being on one level it is easily accessible to all ages, and all ages will enjoy the rural setting, the beautiful beach at Walcott only two miles away, and the proximity of the Broads National Park . Witton Bridge is a quiet village of just a few houses, making it a perfect place to relax amidst attractive countryside. This part of Norfolk has splendid country walks and cycle rides along the 'quiet lanes' system, a particular feature of this area, which meander through the pretty villages. There are many opportunities in the area for days out for young and old alike. Sandy beaches abound with the nearest at Walcott just two miles away, Sea Palling, Eccles and Winterton are a short distance by car. The market town of North Walsham is four miles away and provides good shopping (including a Waitrose supermarket), pubs and restaurants. The Broads National Park is within easy distance, with Hickling Broad being the closest or alternatively take the train to Wroxham from North Walsham station. Easy access to the fine city of Norwich.
Very pleased with the annexe and surrounding garden, all very comfortable will go again.
Very friendly helpful owners. Very comfortable accommodation and beautiful setting. Lovely holiday.
A very comfortable and well appointed property in a lovely peaceful location, a real home from home. Ideally located to explore both the Broads and the North Norfolk coast.
We live only 17 miles away from our holiday cottage, however, it was light years away from home. We live in the busy city of Norwich, the Hideaway is in a small hamlet of about 20 houses, surrounded by open fields and 2 mile walk from beautiful sandy beaches. So- after the year we’ve all had, if you’re looking for a complete change of environment and don’t want to travel far, don’t hesitate!
