A fantastic property for our relaxing family break. The kitchen was well kitted out, it had everything we needed and more! An ideal location for exploring Norfolk - we walked along the canal to the lock and ate at a nice pub in Dilham. The Speed party - 1st June 2018
It was so good that we've booked it again for a week in summer!! I don't think we've ever returned to a property before. We've never been so pleased with a holiday property, everything we needed for our holiday was there. The kitchen was superbly equipped, I cooked our Christmas dinner with no issues. We spent more time in the property than we would usually do, no doubt because it was extremely comfortable. We found this property by accident as our original booking was refused by the owner, due to ill health. We're really pleased to have found it, it looks like it will become a favourite....Mr Chris Dobson - 2nd January 2018
A wonderful property and spot. Walks on the doorstep, we loved Bacton Wood, a canoe up the canal, a cream tea at the Brooklands Hotel in North Walsham, a visit to the seals at Horsey, the Fur and Feathers pub at Woodbastwick and the patio on the back garden! A relaxing stay! The Calvert Party - 27th October 2017
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canal Side. Superb property, relaxing countryside views. Loved Cromer and Happisburgh beach. Will definitely be back in the spring. The Burton Party - 9th October 2017
Fantastic property, everything we could of wished for. We've had a fabulous holiday. Sun for the whole two weeks! Our highlights; Blakeney - Bishops Boat trip to see the seal colony - magical! Sheringham - Coastal Walk, great beaches at Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea, more seal spotting at Horsey, bike rides and canoes at Holkham Estate. Places to eat - Victoria Inn at Holkham, The Kings Head at Letheringsett and Byfords at Holt. Even managed to catch those amazing sunsets at Canal Side. Thanks The Killey Party - 25th August 2017
We are all sad to leave such a beautiful holiday home - by far the very best that we have stayed in. We all appreciated the views, and the house was filled with everything you need. I spent lots of relaxing time in the garden reading, a very rare treat! The children enjoyed the swimming baths at Great Yarmouth and although expensive we hired a boat for the day from Horning. Lots of lazy mornings too!! The day trip to Cromer is nice - a little seaside town and not too far away. Thank you.The Bradbury Party - 4th August 2017
A wonderful property in a lovely setting. The kids really enjoyed the table football whilst the parents appreciated the quality of the fixtures, fittings and products available. Wells-next-the-sea is definitely the best beach around and the Owl Sanctuary is worth a visit. The New Family - 28th July 2017
Thank you fro the chance to stay in your lovely house; truly magical. We enjoyed all the local walks plus just relaxing in this calm environment. The views and the sunset from the living room will be long remembered. Did a day trip to Wells and Stiffkey Marshes which are old haunts and lovely to revisit. Thank you again. The Skinner Party - 14th July 2017
