Canal Side is a superb three storey conversion of the granary building which was part of Ebridge Mill and dates from around 1850. There are balconies on all floors and stunning views over the mill pond and surrounding water meadows, an area rich in wildlife, otters and kingfishers are frequently seen. White Horse Common is an attractive rural hamlet situated 2 miles to the east of the market town of North Walsham. It is an ideal location from which to explore the North Norfolk coast, Broads National Park and historic city of Norwich, the Weavers Way is also easily accessible. Within a short drive you will find the coastal village of Mundesley with its sandy beach and village shops, and the popular Victorian resort town of Cromer with its famous pier is only 10 miles away.  The market town of North Walsham is host to a range of shops, supermarkets, pubs and provides good rail links (via the Bittern Line) to nearby Wroxham and Norwich to the south and Cromer and Sheringham to the north.

The standard of accommodation was perfect, with everything you would need for a break. The location was excellent for walking the dog through Bacton Woods and the view of the canal was idyllic. I would definitely book this property again.

A fantastic property for our relaxing family break. The kitchen was well kitted out, it had everything we needed and more! An ideal location for exploring Norfolk - we walked along the canal to the lock and ate at a nice pub in Dilham.
