East Norfolk Coast visitor guide

A coast rich in deep history and childhood giggles...

The East Coast of Norfolk has a rich history that makes it of greater historical importance than that of the Jurassic Coast.  Family days are to be treasured on the Blue-flag beaches at Bacton, Mundesley and Sea Palling. The buzz of Great Yarmouth’s electric promenade, Hippodrome Circus and Time and Tide Museum will appeal to many.  Whilst others will prefer the tranquillity of walking the coast path, passing the spot where the 2012 tidal surge uncovered the oldest evidence of human activity outside of Africa. Look out for the iconic red and white striped Happisburgh lighthouse on-route.
