Reviews

An absolutely perfect property. Spotlessly clean. Massively well equipped, everything possible provided and more. Lovely scenic, quiet location but very near village centre, the coast and bus stop if required.

Mrs O,

Great, well equipped property. Lovely location.

Mrs L,

This house is immaculate, it is on a small estate of beautiful houses and just a short stroll to the amenities of Mundesley. The garden is very pet friendly. There is nothing that this house has not got to make your holiday wonderful.

Mrs S,

A fabulous, comfortable and extremely clean property with everything you need - very much a 'home from home'. Beautiful garden too and parking for two cars. Easy walk into the village for the shops, pub and a walk along the beach - all perfect. We have enjoyed a very relaxing week in a part of the UK we had not previously visited, but would definitely recommend Norfolk and this particular property.

Mrs G,

This property is owner managed and the owners were very proactive and the place was spotlessly cleaned with hand sanitiser in every room.

Mr L,

Lovely property about 10-15 minute walk to beach/cafes and pub. Very clean with plenty of kitchen equipment. Had a minor problem with tv and after texting the owner was sorted within a couple of hours. Would certainly recommend. On a minor note if using postcode on a sat nav ours took us to next road and being a new property couldn’t find the address.

Mrs D,

Lovely house equipped with everything you need - the kitchen had more equipment than our own home! The beds were extremely comfy, as were the settees. The garden gets the sun throughout the day into early evening and is lovely and private and fully enclosed for those who are taking dogs. The estate is lovely and quiet and only a 10 minute stroll to the sandy beach where dogs are welcome at either end and lifeguards patrol during the spring/summer. There was one occasion where we had to contact the owner (new house teething problems - we were only the 3rd guests to stay at the property) and they came over within an hour and resolved the issue for us. We took our dog and found a licenced home boarder online before we went - Manor Cottage Dog Home Boarding - who looked after our dog for 4 of the days we were there - they were absolutely lovely and flexible with the times we dropped off and collected, and our dog was very content and settled there (we are very fussy on who we will leave our dog with and he's not one for settling with just anyone!). I cannot recommend them highly enough and they are only a 5 minute walk from Mill Beck and only board dogs from one household at a time. If you book Mill Beck I'd contact them asap to ensure availability. The village has a lovely butchers and greengrocers and also a post office and spar shop. Unfortunately fish and fry (which everyone recommends) was closed due to a fire but the village chippy was really good. On the seafront there is a crazy golf course, a couple of shops and a cafe and ice cream shop (it is a beautiful small resort) but these tend to close around teatime when the daytrippers leave (although it never got too busy when we were there in half term week). There's a lovely little park with some goalposts and ample room for playing ball games and also a playground, skateboard park and multi use court - there was always plenty of room on these whilst we were there). There is also a golf driving range within a 10 minute walk. There is also a considerably sized tesco express which is very well stocked with a wide range of goods. All the locals are very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely book Mill Beck if we return to Mundesley and highly recommend it

Mrs T,

Excellent cottage, everything we expected and more. Short stroll to two local pubs which also did excellent food when we didn't cater for ourselves.
