Happisburgh is a pretty village on the North East Norfolk coast. Famous for its working lighthouse with its bold red stripes, the village has a shop and pub, and the beach is accessible 0.25 miles away. This area of Norfolk is really the gateway to the Broads national park giving a superb contrast to the wide sandy beaches. There are numerous nature reserves in the area, do go to Horsey where you are sure to see the baby seals in action at certain times of the year. Wroxham and North Walsham are good centres for shopping and if you wish to head North, then Cromer and Sheringham are not too far away and offer traditional seaside resorts. Definitely worth a visit.

Reviews

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights with our dog and had a marvellous stay, our first in Norfolk. The cottage was even better in person than on the site, immaculately clean, with all the supplies and a wonderful welcome pack to get you going. Most of all though the cottage was full of little touches that made it feel very relaxing, a real home from home. The wonderful beach full of walkers and dogs was just 5 minutes walk away and the local pub even closer, it’s a great location. We had a wonderful stay in Happisburgh and will be trying to get back as soon as possible!!

Mrs Victoria Houfton,

Have done several Christmas breaks but this was our favourite it really did feel like home. Lovely Chridtmas goodies and decorations left by owner completed it. Every creature comfort and also loved the village.

Mrs A Erdamar,

Beautiful, very well equipped with lots of extras and a Christmas touch

Mrs Helen Clover,

A beautiful cottage, central location. Lots of little extras which make the holiday even better.

Mrs Margaret Mcsloy,

An amazing cottage, so homely with such lovely extra touches. Truly a home from home and in a great location, it makes it hard to leave. I wil definitely book again in the near future.

Denise Moffat,

Camberley Cottage at Happisburgh is a beautiful 16th century cottage that has been sympathetically modernised .I hired it in November, it was warm and comfortable and I had a wonderful relaxing Holiday,Camberley Cottage , is a top quality rental property with quality cutlery and glassware microwave cooker etc. Well done to the owner and Norfolk Country Cottages. I would definitely have more Holidays with Norfolk Country Cottages, and on the standard of Camberley I would rent other properties and recommend the cottage to my friends and associates and have done. Friends of mine are going to hire Camberley next year on my recommendation.

Ms Judith Errington,

Enjoyed the experience enough to want to return.
