Spencer Wall is situated in an ideal location for a seaside holiday, being just a few minutes from the beach. The spacious interior is ideal for families and the house benefits from a large lawned garden, which is great for games. Views of the dunes or open farmland are visible from all windows. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 1.5 miles.

Notes: Whilst it is preferred people sleep in the main house, if a member of your group has difficulties with stairs it is possible to use the Garden room as a bedroom, notice is required at time of booking and main house preferences agreed. Please note there will be a £25 charge.
Midway between the coastal villages of Sea Palling and Happisburgh, North Gap is an access point through the sand dunes onto the fine sandy beaches of this coast. There is a scattering of houses and holiday homes behind the dunes, overlooking the surrounding farmland. Most people will come here for the beach, but the Broads are also easily accessible. The village pubs and shops of Sea Palling are about a mile away, and jet ski hire is also possible here with further amenities available in the nearby towns of Stalham and North Walsham.
I would have liked to have seen a plan of the layout of the property before booking as, whilst we had the required number of beds, the layout wasn't ideal for our combination of guests. So saying, the beds were very comfortable and the cottage was well equipped, warm and clean. We found the cottage to be more rustic and quaint than the pictures on the website lead us to believe! It wasn't quite what we were expecting. The cottage is well appointed and ideal for a family beach holiday and for those looking for a rural getaway. It was easy to find using satnav, and essential amenities are not far away in nearby Stalham. Whilst Spencer Wall is definitely a bit quirky in both layout and decor, the beds are very comfortable and the outside wet room ideal for use when returning from a day at the seaside. There is plenty of space for family dining both inside and out. Even though the weekend we stayed was wet we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A lovely holiday spot , great for a large family . The kitchen was well equipped & big enough for everyone to sit in , the extra garden room was a huge bonus. Wonderful beach. Highly recommended
