Nestled in the picturesque village of Cawston midway between Norwich and the North Norfolk coast, this gem of a property makes a great base for exploring the region. Skilfully renovated with original character features and cosy cottage-style furniture, this warm and welcoming holiday home has ample room for four. With an outdoor patio and shared use of the owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool in summer, this single-storey property is sure to please.

Light and fresh, the kitchen/diner creates a calming environment to cook up a storm, while the tiled floor and exposed beams add charm and character to the room. There’s a dining table here for family mealtimes, plus a patio and BBQ outside so you can make the most of warmer weather. Heated between May and September, the outdoor pool is an added bonus for those balmy summer days; there’s a convenient garden house with a changing room and shower. Arranged over a single storey, the en-suite double and twin bedrooms are along the hallway along with the family bathroom.

The market towns of Aylsham (4.5 miles) and Reepham (3 miles) offer a choice of places to eat and drink. Local attractions include the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall (4.5 miles) and Felbrigg Hall (15.5 miles), and the fine city of Norwich (12.5 miles), while the seaside resorts of Cromer, Sheringham and Mundesley are within 18 miles.

The Old Coach House is a charming cottage . It is clean, comfortable and the pool is fantastic. Although the cottage is in a quiet village, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. The owners Mr and Mrs Tubby, who live next door, are friendly, welcoming and helpful.
