Escape with your special someone to this stunning single-story conversion of the Old Forge in the Blofield Heath in the heart of Norfolk Broads. Brimming over with character, this is a perfect hideaway for couples seeking a romantic getaway in Norfolk. During the day, pack up a picnic and find the perfect spot for lunch on the banks of the River Yare at Postwick Grove; and in the evening come home to snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie.

As you step through the front door, you'll be greeted by a light and airy open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area. Slip onto the sofa and let the chic decor make you feel perfectly at home. When it's time for dinner, the modern kitchen area has everything you need to create a romantic meal for two. Enjoy an intimate dinner at the dining table. Alternatively, head out to the shared courtyard, fire-up the BBQ and dine alfresco with your sweetie. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine while the stars come out, or return to the lounge area to snuggle on the sofa in front of your favourite TV show. At the end of the day, the charming bedroom awaits you.

Head into Brundall (3 miles), rent a classic Norfolk Broads boat and spend a lovely day sailing along the River Yare - a tranquil and scenic experience you don’t want to miss. Alternatively, grab your fishing gear and head to Strumpshaw Fen (3.5 miles), a nature reserve that’s teeming with wildlife. Cast your line into the water and see if you can catch some fish.

Very comfortable well appointed cottage in a great location for exploring the beautiful Broads. The owner was very approachable and willing to address any minor issues we experienced. We especially appreciated the "welcome pack" as we had missed the turn off to the supermarket on our approach to the property. The welcome pack enabled us to have a cRead moreup of tea on our arrival and enjoy a nice breakfast when we woke up the next day. They had also incuded a bottle of wine in the welcome pack! Hide
