Set in the lovely village of Dersingham, which backs onto the Sandringham Estate, this charming brick cottage is ideal for couples and small families. Accommodating up to four guests and two beloved pups, it’s a great base for walkers and nature lovers with stunning country walks on your doorstep and the delights of the North Norfolk coast starting just three miles away. Equally, you’ll love returning to this cosy cottage to relax at the end of the day.
Arranged over two floors and attractively furnished throughout, the cottage has a homely and welcoming ambiance. With a selection of comfortable seating and a wood-burner-effect electric fire, snuggle up in the lounge at the end of a day’s walking, or curl up in the separate reading room to delve into a good book. There’s a selection of reading material and games in the cheerful dining room, which leads on to a light and fresh kitchen which is well equipped for rustling up your favourite meals. On warm days dine alfresco in the peaceful back garden, or simply enjoy a sundowner out here while the kids and dogs play safely. Upstairs there are two attractively furnished bedrooms, a double and a twin, along with a family bathroom.
Dersingham makes a great base away from the busier coastal resorts. There’s a choice of pubs, along with a shop, garden centre and tearoom, and takeaway, so all the facilities are on hand. Set out on foot to explore Dersingham Bog, the grounds of Sandringham Estate and former royal railway station at Wolferton; visits to Sandringham house and garden are available at certain times of the year (all within three miles). The popular beach resort of Hunstanton is just 7 miles, while the bird reserves of Snettisham and Titchwell are within 12 miles.
