The dog-friendly property features an open-plan living area, en-suite bathrooms and an enclosed rear garden, making it perfect for families or groups of friends searching for a relaxing break close to the seaside.

An en-suite double bedroom sits just off the lounge, perfect for anyone with mobility issues. Two further en-suite bedrooms - a double and a twin - await on the first floor. An enclosed garden, split between a decked area and a shale area, awaits outside, and is an ideal spot for poring over the morning papers, catching some rays or enjoying a BBQ supper.

Stunning country walks and long strolls by the sea are within easy reach of the property. Take bikes or set out on foot along the footpaths that crisscross Heacham’s bustling village and into the wider Norfolk Coast AONB, discovering more along the way. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Malthouse Lodge. Every aspect of your stay had been considered and accommodated for. It was excellently equipped and suited our family and in-laws perfectly - the downstairs bedroom with wet room en-suite was an added bonus for them. Cottage was not very clean cobwebs in every room, even the double bed headboard was covered in dust. wooden floor had not been washed in months, decking was very slippery when wet and broken in many places, not been steam cleaned in years and not maintained in years, No smart TV in lounge, and unable to watch dvd's and not connected to TV. ShowerRead more in twin room was blocked, with hair and gunge which we had to clear ourselves so that the water could run away. Very annoying blue night light that comes on automatically and stays on all night in the hall and all ensuites bathrooms, no option to turn this off . Teddy bear Bedding absolutely awful very unsuitable, and very uncomfortable. Very disappointed. Hide
