Escape to the North Norfolk coast at this quaint single-storey cottage in the peaceful coastal village of Eccles-on-Sea. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, it's ideal for families or groups who are in search of a laid-back seaside base to call home while they explore the Norfolk coast and Broads together. Spend lazy days walking, swimming, paddleboarding or spotting wildlife on the beach, or wander along to the neighbouring village of Sea Palling (1 mile) to treat yourself to some world class fish and chips. Head to Happisburgh (2 miles) to see its iconic red-and-white striped lighthouse, or make you way to Horsey Gap (5 miles) to see the grey seals and their pups on the shore. Further afield, discover the Norfolk Broads at Hickling (5 miles) – a great spot for birdwatching and boating - or treat the family to a day at the BeWILDerwood Adventure Park (16 miles).
Step inside your beachy single-level retreat and you’ll find a bright, open-plan living space where kitchen, dining and lounge areas flow together. Made for relaxing in after a day by the sea, it’s a cheerful space that’s ideal for sociable groups. Cook up a storm in the smart kitchen area and share a casual meal with your loved ones in the dining area. Afterwards, slip onto a sofa in the lounge area for movie night on the Smart TV. When the day is done, you’ll find three coastal-styled bedrooms waiting for you - one king-size, one twin and one room with fun, adult-sized bunks. A smart family shower room with a walk-in shower completes the layout.
Outside you’ll discover enclosed gardens to the front and rear of your cottage. Wake up and sip your morning coffee on the sunny south-facing veranda, and then later in the day, share a casual al fresco dinner at the picnic table. As night falls, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and watch the stars come out in some of Norfolk's darkest skies. A path leads directly from the garden onto the beach. Private parking is available on the driveway for two cars.
