Experience Cromer’s Victorian charm with a stay at this apartment right in the centre of town. The one-bedroom property is ideal for couples or solo travellers keen to enjoy this seaside resort on foot, with the local sandy beach just 150 metres away. You’ll have shops, pubs and restaurants within 300 metres so you can easily take morning swims followed by coffee, lunch or ice cream locally (or all three!). For excellent walks, explore the network of pretty paths winding through the surrounding Norfolk Coast National Landscape – you can walk along the shoreline to nearby Sheringham (5 miles) at low tide, with excellent birdwatching spots along the way. For a change from the seafront, visit Felbrigg Hall (3 miles), an impressive National Trust country house surrounded by gardens, woodland and parkland. Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary (3 miles) is another fantastic option if you love animals.
On arrival, head up the building’s internal stairs to your front door. Inside, everything is laid out over one floor, with the original feature fireplaces preserved in each of the main rooms. You can relax in the evenings in the modern open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner, which has a well-equipped kitchen along with a dining table next to the window. After dinner, settle into the sofa to watch something on the Smart TV. The separate bedroom has a comfortable double bed, while the spacious shower room features a shower and WC.
There is no designated outside space because of the property’s central town location, but you’ll have plenty of green spaces nearby, including the nearby Evington Gardens (350 metres). Free on-street parking is available outside the apartment on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also use the pay-and-display car parks around Cromer if the spaces outside are occupied, with the nearest just 150 metres away.
