A charming retreat set close to the meandering River Bure, this welcoming farm cottage serves as the perfect base for discovering the Norfolk Broads. Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, this inviting annexe adjoins the main house while offering a private entrance and excellent seclusion. Situated on a working farm just half a mile from the heart of the historic market town of Acle, it is ideally positioned for local independent shops, eateries, and scenic walking and cycling routes through the national park. Hire a day boat just 1 mile away to explore the waterways at your own pace, stopping off at idyllic riverside pubs along the way. Spend sunny summer days enjoying the sandy beaches and traditional seaside attractions of Great Yarmouth (9 miles), or venture 9.5 miles to Winterton in the autumn to see the grey seals. The vibrant, historic city of Norwich is also an easy day trip at just 12.5 miles away.

Step inside your private, two-storey accommodation to find a welcoming home-from-home. The ground floor features a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can unwind, socialise, and cook together after a busy day exploring Norfolk. Settle down to watch a film on the Smart TV, curl up with a good book, or enjoy family games nights. The well-equipped kitchen area is ideal for preparing delicious local produce sourced on your travels, before gathering around the dining table for relaxed holiday mealtimes. One of the two comfortable double bedrooms is located on this level, featuring a smart projector and double doors that open directly onto the courtyard – perfect for stepping outside with your morning coffee. A modern family shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, the first floor is dedicated to the master bedroom – a restful double room complete with a smart projector for luxury late-night or early-morning viewing.

Outside, the private, fully enclosed courtyard is a wonderful sanctuary on sunny days. Fire up the barbecue, share lazy meals in the fresh air, or unwind with a sundowner as dusk falls over the farm. This cottage also includes private parking for two cars.
