Sleeping two guests, the one-bedroom hideaway overlooks a lake near Stow Bedon, 4 miles from the market town of Watton and 7 miles from Attleborough. Head out to discover beautiful Breckland. Follow the famous Pingo Trail right from your hideaway; this is a flat 8-mile walk that takes you past the country’s highest concentration of shallow Ice Age ponds, known as pingos. Venture 2 miles to Thetford Forest Park, with its scenic walks. Grimes Graves, 14 miles away, where you can descend nine meters below ground into Britain’s only open Neolithic flint mine, is well worth a visit if you are fascinated by the past. Plan a trip to the city of Norwich, 22 miles away, to see its historic castle and cathedral, explore its shopping areas and choose between its array of eateries.

Feel the cares of the world lift from your shoulders as you arrive at this magical and romantic shepherd’s hut. Immerse yourselves in nature and experience a complete digital detox, as you gaze out across the countryside and towards the lake. Take five wooden steps up from your private outside seating area to find yourselves in the inviting, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom space of the abode. Tastefully decorated and creatively finished to ensure complete comfort and relaxation throughout your stay, the inviting hideaway has underfloor heating to keep you toasty and warm whatever the season. The kitchenette, with its rings, microwave and toaster, has been designed to ensure you can prepare light meals and snacks with ease and there is a breakfast bar where you can sit down to eat together and take in the glorious scenery. The bedroom space has also been cleverly arranged, with ample storage for your holiday wear and a king-size bed that promises a superb night’s sleep.
