Set just outside Burnham Market, this stylish lodge combines modern comfort and coastal appeal for up to 4 guests, with a private patio for al fresco dining.
Arrive via the external steps into a hallway with storage for coats, boots and beach gear before moving into the heart of the lodge. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is designed for sociable stays. In the kitchen, streamlined worktops, fitted appliances and a wine fridge support self-catering stays, while a breakfast bar suits morning coffee and casual meals. The dining area seats four, where you can gather over meals together. In the lounge, soft seating and armchairs create a relaxed setting for evenings in, whether that’s a film on the Smart TV or catching up after a day on the coast. Full-height glazing brings in natural light, and patio doors open directly onto the patio in warmer weather. Both bedrooms have an en-suite shower room, walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and Smart TV. One room contains a king-size bed, while the second has a super-king zip-and-link bed that can be arranged as twins on request. A cloakroom adds extra convenience. Outside, the glass-balustraded, fully enclosed patio terrace is a great spot for dining and evening drinks. With secure gated access, it is well suited to children and dogs. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.
From the doorstep, it’s less than half a mile into the centre of the village, where independent shops, well-regarded restaurants and gastro pubs surround the green. The North Norfolk coastline lies 5 miles away, putting beaches and open skies within easy reach. Spend time at Holkham Beach (5 miles), known for its dunes and broad sands, or explore nearby Holkham Hall (4 miles) and its parkland. The seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea is 6 miles away, while Morston (12.5 miles) offers boat trips from Morston Quay to Blakeney Point, where seals gather throughout the year.
