Head to this beautiful house in tranquil Syderstone and find yourselves in the perfect position for the Norfolk countryside and coast. Up to three people and one delighted dog are welcome at the three-bedroom cottage, which is well positioned for the spectacular north Norfolk coast, as well as the Royal Sandringham Estate, swathes of mature woodland and an array of nature reserves.

Find your way into the hall and then the inviting lounge at this beautifully decorated detached house. Relax together in here in front of the 40” TV with YouView box, giving access to subscription channels, at the end of each busy day. Light the open fire on chilly evenings then wander through into the airy kitchen to prepare dinner while it gets going. Discover a separate utility room with washer-dryer and a ground-floor shower room, with WC. Lay the table in the dining room and sit down to holiday feasts together. Climb the stairs to lay your head in either of the two king-size rooms or the twin. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor. Spill out into the garden on warm days to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner out in the sunshine. Find parking for two cars at the house.

Walk less than 1 mile from the house to reach enchanting Syderstone Common; pick up the Peddars Way long distance footpath approximately 4 miles from the cottage and follow it for 9 miles to connect with the Norfolk Coast Path at Holme-next-the-Sea. Plan days out to the beach at magnificent Brancaster, with its wide, golden sands and sweeping dunes, or Wells-next-the-Sea, 10 miles away, known for its colourful beach huts and harbour railway, where you can go crabbing and end the afternoon with an ice-cream or fish and chips.

Great location for north Norfolk, beaches, Norwich, places to eat, stately homes all within 15-60 mins. The village has a number of dog walks, all signposted and well used. Although village does not have a shop or pub, plenty of options within 20 mins drive. House is bright, comfortable and well equipped. The Old School House sits in a small village occupied by friendly people with excellent nearby walks for families and dog owners. A short drive to the wonderful Holkham. Large supermarkets a short drive. Relaxed and comfortable home with very cosy and comfy beds. The local contact was extremally friendly and helpful. Will defiantly go back.

We come to Norfolk a lot, having family near Norwich. As our previous accommodation was unavailable, we booked the Old School House in Syderstone. The kitchen and bathrooms were well kitted out: plenty of towels and loo rolls! The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of hangers - something I often moan about, The TV was pre-loaded with channels -Read more thank you. The house was warm. A quite lovely home - warm and hospitable. We very much enjoyed our Christmas stay and the welcoming hamper and Christmas decorations were so kind. Thank you. The two garden gates need their locks securing as they easily blow open in the wind as our dog soon found out. Nice location for the beach and area. Nice layout and touches within the property, very cool inside despite the heatwave which was pleasing. Good wet rooms and kitchen well equipped, WiFi good and plenty of towels and welcome hamper was a nice touch. Village has nothing left in terms of shop or pub, the park is very new and great for children. Beautiful cottage, really peaceful and was so comfy and well equipped. The welcome basket was a very thoughtful treat. The garden was lovely, I would say that although the garden is enclosed, the gap under the gates at the front of the property were high enough for our minitaure dachshund to fit under but would be fine for bigger dogs and it did noRead moret detract from our enjoyment. The layout of bathrooms is a bit quirky with the shower room accessible from a mezzanine level halfway down the stairs, plus another one on the ground floor and one over the bath on the first floor. A basket of goodies on arrival and some kitchen condiments etc to get you started.

Lovely property, slightly quirky (in an appealing way) in a quiet location but with easy access to many sights, attractions and coastal towns. For EV owners, the on-site charger is a boon. Reliable and easy to use - just plug in and leave it to do it's thing.

The Old School House is a wonderful property equipped with everything anyone would want and very comfortable. For those with children/dogs the enclosed garden is perfect. This is a spacious and really comfortable house. Lovely quiet garden with lots of bird song. Very clean and great that it had three showers and loos. The village is really quiet with a wonderful round towered church opposite. We travelled to Wells, Sandringham, and Brancaster easily.
