In the evenings you can relax by the fire in this 18th-century cottage with wooden beamed ceilings or dine alfresco in the dog-friendly, enclosed garden.

On entering this semi-detached cottage you’ll notice the original features in the cosy lounge – such as the beamed ceiling and wooden flooring. Natural light pours through the double-aspect windows into the seating area with a sofa, two armchairs and an exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner. Continue into the farmhouse-style galley kitchen with contemporary lighting, wooden countertops and tones of green throughout. Gather in the dining room for evening meals at the white, wooden table beside the Welsh dresser. Also on the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and a WC. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a twin room and an en-suite king-size with a TV. Outside you’ll find an enclosed garden with a patio containing furniture and a small lawned area, as well as a larger front garden with seating.

While staying in Whiton, explore the centre of the village and pop into the outdoor clothing shop or stop for refreshments at the local pub (both within 0.5 miles). Head into the Norfolk Coast National Landscape and walk around the Warham Camp Iron Age Fort (1 mile). Take your four-legged friends for a dip at Wells-next-the-Sea Beach (4.5 miles) or, in low season, dogs are welcome at the expansive sandy Holkham Beach (6 miles). A good base to explore north Norfolk. The downstairs living space is generous and the accommodation is accurately described. It is a very pretty dog friendly cottage.

Stunning little cottage in a really quiet location. It was very conveniently located to the whole of the North Norfolk coast . Nice pub in the village. It was a shame not to have a little welcome basket as most other cottages do, with some nice Norfolk produce. We would love to come back sometime.

Cottage was beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable and garden was a typical cottage garden and very well looked after. Lovely quiet location but not far to travel to sea. We had an amazing stay with our two dogs.

A lovely cottage warm and cosy in a great location for exploring north Norfolk. Good pubs nearby ( the pies at the 3 horseshoes were smashing). There were no footpaths near the cottage but lots of nice walks within a short drive and the beaches were dog friendly. So a really nice dog friendly stay.

Note checkout is 9.00 not 10.00 like other places. This should be made clear before booking not afterwards. Apart from that Cottage was lovely and a good location for visiting places in north Norfolk. Carpenters Arms well worth a visit for eating out.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this very pretty cottage but does have a few drawbacks. However nice and warm and in a good location. Unfortunately we had limited access to back garden when we were there as grass had been reseeded so couldn't let dogs out there. In a good location for accessing coast and country.

A really lovely cottage that was perfect for us and our two dogs - the gardens are enclosed back and front and the cottage is very comfortable but also practical with wooden floors/tiles downstairs. It was very well equipped and good to have the utility area/downstairs loo. A very quiet location close to some amazing beaches. We have already recommRead moreended it to a couple of friends who have dogs and would love it. Hide
