This is a small, cosy and comfortable cottage at the centre of Bacton. It is very close to the beach and with easy road access and parking in front of the cottage. We found the location very quiet during the day and night as it is set back from the road, and has a nice view over fields at the back of the house. The bedrooms were comfortable and we Read moreslept well during the stay. The bathroom is a good size, but does not have a stand-in shower. The owner provided helpful information and advice. Hide

Lovely comfortable quiet cottage, with easy access to the beach. The milk, eggs, crisps and biscuits were a welcome treat. It was nice that the owner Sam kept in touch prior to our arrival and on our departure.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage which is close to a beautiful beach. The mattresses aren't the comfiest in my opinion. The kitchen utensils need updating. A water filter is needed due to the hard water in the area.

A lovely, well equipped little cottage. Comfy beds with cotton linen. Lovely large towels - beach towels were also provided which was a nice touch as was the welcome pack of milk, eggs, biscuits and snacks. The open fire was cosy on chilly March evenings. Central location for a wide range of activities. Lovely clean beach. There is a short cut to tRead morehe beach which unfortunately we didn't discover until the last day of our short break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coastguard Cottage. Hide

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and a great spot. Our winter stays was warm and cosy. The village has all that you could need, pub, beach, and a couple of nice coffee shops all on the doorstep. Check-in time was listed as 5pm, but we had a message from the owner at about 12 saying it was ready for us - a great bonus.
