This idyllic holiday retreat for two enjoys a peaceful, countryside setting, just 3 miles from the market town of Holt. You’ll find beautiful countryside walks directly from your front door, including to the wildlife haven of Selbrigg Pond, as well as at nearby Sheringham Park (3 miles) and Felbrigg Estate (8 miles). For a day at the seaside, Sheringham and Cromer are both within 9 miles.

The ground-floor apartment is in a traditional brick and flint cottage, which sits within the grounds of the owner’s small, working farm. The main living area is open plan and comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner. This area is bright and airy, decorated in calming tones and with a country-cottage style. The kitchen area is equipped with everything needed to whip up tasty dishes for two, to enjoy together at the table by the window. In the evenings, get cosy on the sofa or snuggle up in the armchair to watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The relaxing, king-size bedroom boasts dual-aspect windows with views over the garden, and a stylish bathroom and handy utility area complete the accommodation. French doors from the living area open onto a sunny patio garden, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

The Georgian market town of Holt is just 3 miles away, and is known for its fantastic array of independent shops and eateries, as well as its pretty streets and impressive architecture. From Holt, you can hop aboard the steam trains of the North Norfolk Railway to visit the seaside resort of Sheringham, with its sandy beach and colourful beach huts. Beautiful cottage, in a lovely peaceful area, you could see the dark sky, the stars, no noise, apart from the odd deer, or the local swans - pure bliss. If you want a getaway cottage with everything you need this is the place for you. The owners were lovely, right on your doorstep if you needed anything. I would throughly recommend.
