Bursting with charm, this family-friendly farm building conversion seamlessly blends the old with the new, creating a cosy, homely abode for a break to the Norfolk coast. With an open-plan living area, a warming wood burner and a pretty private garden, it’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at all times of the year. For a blissful beach day, Mundesley Beach is just 4 miles away alongside the vibrant Victorian village that makes up the traditional seaside resort.

Brightly lit by the dual-aspect windows, the living room is a lovely cosy place to relax with two armchairs and a two-seater sofa for comfort. During the winter months, the gas burner stove is a welcome addition whilst during the summer, you can throw open the patio doors to let the fresh air in. Adjoining the lounge is the airy kitchen/diner which has a neutral colour scheme and plenty of storage for all of your produce. Here, you’ll also find a charming dining table seating four. Completing the ground floor is a convenient WC. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a characterful vaulted ceiling with a king-size bed, tastefully decorated in calming colours to help ensure a good night’s rest. The second bedroom is a neutral twin, suitable for both adults and children. Finally, the floor is finished by a quirky shower room with a skylight window. The garden area is a fantastic private terrace with seating so that you can make the most of the sunny weather.

Most seaside fun can be found in Cromer (7 miles), home to a beach, Amazon Zoo and a golf club for those who fancy a round with awe-inspiring views. Active adventurers may wish to pack a picnic and join a stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path with routes to Mundesley or Sheringham starting from the pier. A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Areas such as Cromer are just a short drive away. If you happen to have young children, do make a point of finding the play park in Southrepps, it is one of the best around.
