Designed with families and groups in mind, this attractive holiday home sits within the Norfolk countryside and makes a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding coast and villages. With plenty of space to relax and a wooden cabin complete with a pool table, enjoy a memorable stay at this warm and welcoming home away from home.

Inside, the property has been renovated to a high standard. The ground floor includes a comfortable lounge with plush seating, a Smart TV and an open fire, alongside a separate snug with a second TV and Nintendo Wii. At the heart of the home is a generous kitchen and dining area, set up for cooking, socialising and gathering around the table together. A utility room with laundry facilities and a ground-floor WC adds practicality. Upstairs, four bedrooms all look out towards the garden and countryside. Sleeping arrangements include a super-king-size room, a double, a twin room suitable for children under 12, and a triple bunk room. The master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, while the remaining rooms are served by a family bathroom with both bath and separate shower. Outside, a wide lawn is paired with outdoor seating for meals in the fresh air, while younger guests have their own play area. A log cabin with a pool table adds extra entertainment, and seasonal produce can be picked from the vegetable and strawberry patch. Parking is available for two cars on the driveway, with additional unallocated roadside parking nearby.

3.5 miles away lies Holt, a lively Georgian market town known for its independent shops, art galleries, antique stores and excellent food scene. From here, the coastline is close at hand. 5 miles away, Cley-next-the-Sea and Blakeney open the door to the scenic North Norfolk Coast, where salt marshes, wide skies and wildlife-rich waters define the landscape. Boat trips to see the seals depart from Blakeney Point (5 miles), while Salthouse (7 miles) offers a quieter shingle shoreline. The classic seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea (9.5 miles) adds colourful charm and a traditional feel.

Highly recommended and spacious enough for two families. Extremely well equipped cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed the large garden. All the utilities were very modern. Overall we had a lovely week at the Old Swan.
