Set within the coastal village of Mundesley, this inviting holiday home is made for seaside breaks and long countryside rambles. Tucked away in a quiet spot 500 metres from the sandy shoreline, it comfortably sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms.
Inside, the cottage is bright and welcoming, with plenty of room for everyone to settle in. The hallway leads through to a well-equipped kitchen/diner – just the place for unpacking local produce and gathering over breakfast before heading out for the day. For evening meals, the separate dining room sets a more special tone, flowing through to a sun-filled conservatory where you can sit back after dinner. On warmer days, open the French doors to let in the fresh air. The generous lounge, with two sets of French doors opening onto the garden, is a sociable hub for board games or settling in with a film on the Smart TV. There’s also a small office for anyone needing a calm corner. On the ground floor, you’ll find two double bedrooms, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room. Upstairs, the master double bedroom sits beneath skylights that fill the room with natural light, complete with its own en-suite shower room. An additional pull-out single bed can be arranged if needed. Outside, the wrap-around garden makes the most of sunny days, with plenty of room for children and dogs to roam. Two decked areas offer different spots for outdoor dining, whether it’s a laid-back lunch or an evening meal beneath the stars. Private off-road parking for up to four cars completes the setup.
From the doorstep, you’re well placed for scenic routes along the Norfolk Coast Path and the Paston Way. A short drive takes you to Cromer (8 miles), a classic Victorian seaside town with its iconic pier and traditional theatre. For grand days out, Blickling Hall (13 miles) showcases striking Jacobean architecture and sweeping parkland, while families can head to Amazona Zoo (8.5 miles) or the magical woodland trails of Bewilderwood (16 miles). The historic city of Norwich (23.5 miles) also makes for a rewarding day trip, with its cathedral, castle and independent shopping scene.
