Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Primrose Green one mile south of Lyng, this single-storey barn conversion offers a wonderful escape to the country. Surrounded by farmland in the heart of the Wensum Valley, this wheelchair-accessible property is ideal for couples and small families looking for a tranquil base. When you’re not relaxing in the lounge or soaking up the sun in the shared garden, head out to explore on foot, by bike or on horseback, or catch supper with a fishing trip along the river.

Beamed ceilings, original fireplaces and latched doors add character and charm to this holiday cottage, while cosy, country-style furniture ensure a homely, welcoming ambiance. The heart of this property is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with comfortable sofas gathered around the TV and fireplace, and patio doors leading to the picnic table at the front of the property. A lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere - my ideal break away, great for walkers and those with dogs. So remote can be hard to find in the dark!

A nice cosy cottage. A welcome pack was provided and was a nice gesture. Everything we needed was available. Location was ideal as it was not far from Norwich, the coast at Cromer or Sheringham and other attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again at some point.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Well equipped kitchen, and theres everything you need. Dog friendly, but remember its a working farm and theres livestock, so dogs need to be leashed at all times. There is a great dog park down the road for off leash fun https://bushytailsdogpark.co.uk/ 100% would book again.

Great quiet location, which is excellent for walking the dog. Lounge is comfortable and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped.

This cottage is in a lovely location and has access to a sweet orchard area with a field behind it. The cottage is homely. The owner was friendly.
