Escape with your loved ones to this delightful coastal bungalow on the popular Norfolk coast. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, and dog-friendly too, this property is the perfect choice for groups who are seeking an enticing mix of beach days, hot tub evenings and ultimately, undisturbed relaxation.

Slip off sandy flip flops and step inside this elegant retreat, where the warmth of the wood burner is ready to thaw frosty toes after days of dipping in the sea. Soothing colours and exquisite furniture make this property a joy to relax within, whether you’re basking in the sunroom with a book or whipping up a feast in the stylish, mod-con-equipped kitchen. There's a high chance you will spot deer as you sit down to dinner in the enclosed garden. Climb into the hot tub for evenings beneath the stars before choosing from three cosy bedrooms, all of which boast en-suites and privacy for all troops.

Fill your lungs with salty sea air when you wander from the cottage and half a mile down to the Cromer coastline, where seagull cries and a pretty pier set the tone for your seaside stay. Wander 2 miles along the beach to Overstrand, or 1.5 miles to East Runton. Kids and adults alike will love hopping aboard the North Norfolk Railway – also known as the Poppy Line – which runs to Sheringham and the Georgian market town of Holt. Those who prefer a sand-free attraction will delight in a trip to the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall (4.5 miles).

We loved our stay at Forest Lodge. A very quiet and private location with lots of nature to observe. The surroundings and the Lodge itself were beautiful. We had a lovely welcome bottle of Prosecco and tea and coffee, even treats and toys/blankets for our dogs, which we thought was a nice touch. The hot tub and sauna were great and really made ourRead more stay better than anywhere we have stayed before. The house was nicely decorated with plenty of furniture and comfortable for 6 adults. Its in a great location close to the camping site, we visited a couple of times, and the beach down the road with a cafe and pub and tasty food. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was new and in great working order. We would 100 percent book here again. Hide

A lovely holiday in a beautiful cottage. One problem for dog owner is that the bar gate at the edge of the property is accessible for dogs to escape,
