We had a great stay at The Stables. The rooms are large and well equipped - loads of storage. Lots of books to read of all different genres. A 5 minute walk to see the sea and 10 minutes to the beach. You need to be able to reverse park on to the drive (not a problem for my husband but trickier for me!) There are 3 very noisy dogs at the house nextRead more door, it didnt bother us but if you are nervous around dogs it might be best to find somewhere else. Garden is enclosed so safe for your own dog. BBQ equipment provided. A fabulous place to stay. Hide

A very comfortable place to stay, very spacious, clean and tidy. Needs a much larger tea pot as there was only a small tea pot there, apart from that tiny problem, a really enjoyable lesson stay was had. Would be nice if you could organise some sunshine just to finish the stay off completely. Score of 9.5/10

We did enjoy our break but found the property not up to 4 star standard. The welcome pack was a bottle of wine and chocolates no milk and only shop closed at 4pm and as check in is 4pm we had to do without. The master bedroom window locks are in very poor condition which made us unwilling to open them for fear of them breaking. The weather was extremely hot and this meant the room was stuffy with no open window

Had a lovely week, cottage really spacious and clean. Would definitely book it again. Be aware that access down to the beach has been cordoned off, we scrambled down a very steep ad hoc path but once was enough and potentially we were not meant to use that slope, vicinity to the beach is great but the access needs sorting by the council.
