Sample Norfolk's glorious countryside and the golden beaches of the Norfolk coast when you stay at this delightful brick and flint cottage in Gimingham. Just moments from the idyllic shoreline of Mundesley, this characterful home for four makes an ideal base for families wishing to spend quality time on the beach.

Traditional elements, such as original beams and exposed brick walls, blend seamlessly with modern fittings to create an excellent base to return to after an energetic day at the seaside. The charming lounge is the perfect place for a social hangout, especially on chillier evenings, where a double-sided wood burner provides a cosy centre for all guests to gather and comfortably chat way into the night. For dinner, sizzle up a storm in the contemporary kitchen before serving in the intimate dining room, which is also cleverly heated by the wood burner. The outdoors is set up for family enjoyment, with a wonderful lawn on one side and a charming courtyard for al fresco dining on the other. At bedtime, use the steep, characterful stairs to reach a twin bedroom and a master double bedroom with another Smart TV. Both bedrooms showcase an underlying nautical theme with overhead exposed beams and ample storage space. Finishing the property is the ground floor modern shower room.

Take advantage of your convenient location with a journey over to Mundesley Beach (2.5 miles). This pretty Victorian village is a traditional seaside experience, with brightly painted beach huts, a playground for children and fish and chip shops. For golfing enthusiasts, Mundesley Golf Club and Royal Cromer Golf Club are both within 7.5 miles and offer scenic yet challenging courses. A visit to The Broads National Park (15 miles) is a must for nature lovers. Walk or sail around this wonderful spot to get a glimpse at some of Britain's rarest animals and plants.

We had a lovely stay at Little Bye, the property is in a great location with lots of pubs, restaurants, the seaside, supermarkets etc all accessible with a short drive. Jo and Kev are great hosts and responded well both before and during the stay, they even chucked in an Easter Egg for our toddler with the welcome hamper, which was a lovely touch. Little Bye Cottage is a beautiful, well-equipped holiday home with a peaceful courtyard and serene garden truly a home away from home. Jo and Kevin were lovely hosts. Sadly, building work at their property next door disrupted our stay, making it impossible to enjoy the quiet mornings we had hoped for. We understand these things happen, but we weRead morere not given enough notice to rebook, which left us very upset and affected our entire experience.
