Hidden away on an adults-only campsite, this beautifully converted former poultry house brings together rustic character and modern comfort in the village of Middleton. Surrounded by open countryside, it’s a lovely spot for walking and cycling, while still within easy reach of some of West Norfolk’s highlights.
Inside, the retreat has been thoughtfully designed with a light, calming feel. Warm wood panelling pairs with a soft, neutral palette, while comfortable furnishings create an inviting place to settle in. The open-plan living area combines a generous lounge, a cosy reading nook and a dining table for long, leisurely meals. The kitchen is well equipped for everything from slow breakfasts to cooking with local ingredients picked up during the day. There are two carefully styled bedrooms: a king-size room with a restful feel and a twin room that’s equally welcoming. A spacious bathroom completes the layout. Outside, the private decking looks out across uninterrupted countryside, making it a wonderful spot to sit back with a drink as the sun dips below the horizon and the evening draws in. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided.
The historic market town of King's Lynn is a 3.5-mile drive away for shops and places to eat, while the sweeping grounds of Sandringham Estate (9 miles) invite long days exploring royal parkland. Closer to home, Bawsey Country Park (4.5 miles) offers woodland trails and lakeside views, and the seaside town of Hunstanton (18 miles) makes an easy trip for a day of classic coastal fun.
