Forge truly special memories at this exquisite cottage right on the edge of the picturesque Norfolk Broads. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming four-legged friends, the two-bedroom retreat nestles in gorgeous, mature gardens in scenic countryside at Wickhampton, 3 miles from Reedham. Idyllic for long country walks, it is also 10 miles from the beach at Great Yarmouth.

Unlace your walking boots and slip off your wellies in the porch before stepping inside to receive a warm welcome. Make yourselves comfortable in the lounge, where you can light a roaring fire in the wood burner, then sink back into the plump leather sofas. Watch the Smart TV, play games or simply enjoy being together in this inviting space. The kitchen/diner conveniently adjoins the lounge and has been fitted with everything you will need to help you prepare hearty feasts with your own ingredients. Whip these up in the galley section, then set the table at the other end of the room. A boot room and a pantry are also here. There is a ground-floor family bathroom, accessed via a step up and then down. Your bedrooms, a double and a small double, are on the floor above. One of these has the luxury of an en-suite bathroom and the other an en-suite shower room. The lawned garden, where pets and children can race and play, is very much a highlight of the cottage and will afford you immense pleasure during the spring and summer months. There is parking for two cars.

Make your way 13 miles to Potter Heigham to hire a day cruiser and venture out onto the lakes and rivers of the Norfolk Broads. Take the children to the famous Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth. Younger ones will adore Pettitts Animal Adventure Park, just 2 miles from the cottage.

Beautiful location and the cottage was a delight. The garden is very secure and dog friendly. A perfect break to get away from it all. I was very impressed with the standard and the bed provided an excellent night's sleep!

Nice cottage, dark skys, no night time noise the new bits have been done well but the old bits need updating especially the old oil boiler which explodes into life every few minutes. The large bath is useless as only enough water is available to fill it to about 12 cm deep. The welcome hamper is one of the best that we have seen. Enough items to Read moreproduce a simple meal including wine. The garden is secure for the dogs, The local wildlife is nice to see. The bedding was the only real problem. A strong scented fabric softener had been used, needed the windows open all night and extra dose of antihystomean the be able to sleep through the night. Generally good place to stay Hide
