Wells-next-the-Sea has a beautiful quay, which is a popular spot for crabbing, and home to the sculpture of the Lifeboat Horse. The long, sandy beach is lined with colourful huts with some great fish and chip shops alongside. From the quay, boat trips head out to the salt marshes and the grey seal colony at Blakeney Point. To the west, Holkham Hall (2.5 miles) occupies a 25,000-acre estate.
