Escape with your loved ones at this gorgeous flint home in the tranquil village of Langham. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s ideal for small families or groups of friends looking for a traditional base to call home while they explore the Norfolk coast together. Spend a fascinating day learning all about military history at Langham Dome, or head off on a seal-spotting boat trip to Blakeney Point. In the evening, return to host a BBQ feast in the cottage’s pretty garden.

From your private parking spot, step inside this elegant, reverse-level holiday home and head to the first floor. There you’ll find an inviting open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with vaulted ceilings, a sweeping bay window and French doors that offer garden views. Make your way to the smart kitchen area to cook for your loved ones and share a sumptuous meal at the beautiful dining table. Alternatively, head out into the large garden, fire up the charcoal BBQ and enjoy a fun al fresco dinner under the stars – there’s an outdoor dining table for six people. Afterwards, retire to the lounge to stretch out in front of your favourite TV shows. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two elegant bedrooms with garden views on the ground floor – a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. A stylish family bathroom with a bath and shower completes the layout.

Set off to Blakeney (2 miles), where you can hop aboard a boat and visit the famous seal colony, or head to Salthouse Marshes (5.5 miles) to spot rare bird species like the Eurasian Spoonbill and Bittern. A very comfortable stay in a great location. Upside down living really works in this house and the views of the treetops everyday was really nice.

We had a very pleasant stay in Norfolk and found the cottage to be a lovely, modern space overall. The layout was good and the living area felt comfortable and well-designed. There were just a few small points we wanted to mention for completeness. The front door lock did not work, which meant we had to leave the door unlocked at all times. We infoRead morermed the housekeeper, but unfortunately the issue was not resolved during our stay, so we proceeded on the basis that the area was safe and left the front door unlocked throughout. In addition, in the main bedroom one foot of the bed was broken, which made it uneven. The kitchen was generally well equipped and the space worked well. It would also have been a nice touch to have a bottle of water available on arrival. Overall, it was a charming, modern cottage in a great location, and we appreciated the opportunity to stay there.
