A former restaurant. this remarkable village retreat makes a fabulous first impression with parking for up to ten cars on the gated driveway. A large entrance hall welcomes you inside. Beyond, the sleek kitchen has everything required to make big-group catering a breeze, with a central island and bar stools for casual catch-ups. Beamed ceilings hint at the building’s heritage in the formal dining room and lounge, the latter featuring deep sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a super-king-size and a single bed, another with a super-king-size zip-and-link which can be made up as twin beds on request, and the other with four single beds, two of which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. A shower room completes the ground-floor layout. Upstairs, the master suite has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed which can convert to twins, plus an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi-style bath. There’s also a twin room, and another with four single beds, two of which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. Completing the first floor is the family bathroom. Step into the rear garden and more wow-factor features are revealed. This large, enclosed space has a lawn, patio, covered seating area, outdoor games, a charcoal BBQ and a pizza oven. Elevating the luxury, a spa room includes a 16-person swim spa hot tub and an infrared sauna. 

There’s a friendly store and pub in Foulsham, while market town Fakenham (9 miles) offers more opportunities to stock up on essentials. En-route, Pensthorpe (7.5 miles) is a haven for wildlife, while on the coast Blakeney (18.5 miles) is the embarkation point for seal-spotting boat trips. Visit Sheringham (20 miles) for traditional seaside fun, or see the sights and shop ‘til you drop in Norwich (18.5 miles).
