This idyllic cottage is in the village of Sedgeford, on the edge of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. The period property welcomes six guests across three bedrooms and makes a delightful retreat for both families and groups of friends. The village is a great base for outdoor enthusiasts, with long-distance walking and cycling routes passing nearby. For a day at the seaside, Hunstanton is just 4.5 miles away.
The traditional Norfolk cottage beautifully blends original features with contemporary furniture and decor. Enter the cottage into the kitchen/diner, which has all the equipment and worktop space needed to rustle up feasts for the group. After dinner at the dining table, head through to the cosy lounge, which has a roaring wood burner for chilly evenings. Relax in here, snuggled up on the plump sofas, to watch the Smart TV or read your book. Completing the ground floor, via steps from the kitchen/diner, is a refreshing family bathroom. Upstairs, discover three inviting bedrooms - a super king-size, a double, and a bunk bedroom. Outside, the enclosed front garden has a sunny patio area with furniture and a BBQ, and beyond this is a small lawn with sun loungers. The property has on-street parking, subject to availability.
Journey into Hunstanton to spend the day on the long, sandy beach, or perhaps enjoy some traditional seaside fun in the amusement arcades. The town is also the starting point for the Norfolk Coast Path. Alternatively, get away from it all on Snettisham's remote, shingle beach (7 miles) - the perfect spot for a peaceful picnic or a tranquil swim. There are some fantastic local attractions within easy reach of the cottage, including Norfolk Lavender, Castle Rising, and the Royal Sandringham Estate (all within 11 miles).
