Booked due to the location and we weren't disappointed. Perfect for exploring the coast and surrounding Broads. It was lovely and quiet, only woken by the 'dawn chorus' and barking muntjac deer. The cottage does need some modernisation, especially the bathroom, which simply was not fit for purpose. Some electrical items didn't seem to work and the Read moreextensive grounds were not accessible due to the length of grass and goose 'deposits'. The cottage would also benefit from some decluttering and the cleanliness wasn't good upon arrival with us having to vacuum around the main room and remove the 38 spiders and dead insects. Overall, I would recommend the cottage for it's location but only if the mentioned issues are rectified. Hide

A lovely location with a homely cottage and large grounds, which also provide access to boat owners who moor alongside the property. The kitchen was well equipped but the plumbing was a downside.

The cottage is well equipped and cosy. The outlook over the Broads is fantastic with direct access just outside.

Other than the plumbing the cottage is lovely and although a bit overfilled with furniture is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The mooring in front of the house is lovely and we were visited by a family of swans. The Museum of the Broads has a lovely boat trip and is just round the corner. The Swan pub serves good food and is within a shortish walRead morek. Hide
